Informal Thai eatery offers a range of classic dishes, vegetarian options.
I’ve been here twice, and I’m definitely coming back!!! The food was on point! Everything came out so delicious!!
The papaya salad (extra spicy) is my all time
Favorite now in the twin cities!!
If you want great Thai/lao food, this is the place! They have reasonable prices too!
Also a bonus, the waitress is always so sweet!
Thanks King Thai! ❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯
I ordered food for pickup while at work. After reading and hearing about their Pad Thai, I had to give it a try.
I ordered Beef Pad Thai (Spicy) and a Beef Fried Rice(spicy). They were both actually spicy, which was good for me as my tolerance level is quite high(if you have a low tolerance for spice, stick with mild only).
Pad Thai was the perfect texture, not drowned in sauce like other places. The noodles are perfect as well, not too soft nor hard, and the noodles aren't falling apart either. Could use a bit more veggies, but still good.
Fried rice was sweet and good, the spice balanced it all out for me, which made it perfect. Plenty of veggies. Nice chunks of Beef too on the two dishes.
Will definitely be my new spot for Pad Thai.
We had a wonderful dinner at King’s Thai. We ordered the papaya salad (medium spice level), chicken pad Thai (medium spice level), and deep-fried pork belly. Every dish was incredibly flavorful!
The restaurant has a cozy, unassuming vibe, with just one person managing everything. Be patient—he ensures you’re well taken care of, and the quality of the food reflects his dedication.
If you’re looking for authentic and delicious Thai food, this spot is definitely worth a visit!
This place is a scam. Service is non existence. Flies are everywhere inside. The prepared "food" was a total waste of material. Rice looked and tasted like raw and salty. I could hardly tell what's what in the plate for what I ordered. I could hardly swallow 1/3 of the small portion. I should have trusted my instinct and turned away from this place once I stepped out of my Uber ride in the rundown parking lot of this place.
This place is great. Used to have to drive to Uptown to get good Thai food. I'm so glad there is something closer now. Reasonable prices too. The red curry noodle soup is awesome...ordered it both times I've been there now. Egg rolls are crispy and tasty as well. We'll definitely be back!
Atmosphere at this restaurant is nice. Overall, the food is great. Never had tomatoes in my pho before so I found it kind of weird but to my surprise, it was good! The broth itself was delicious before I even added my preferred condiments. The noodles were a bit soggy though. The shrimp curry was okay. It was a bit too sweet for my liking but that’s my fault because I didn’t know we could pick the level of spiciness. There were just a few shrimps and curry sauce on a bed of lettuce. It felt more like a wet salad than curry. Spring rolls were not disappointing. I also ordered some pad Thai to go and it’s one of the best Pad Thai’s I’ve ever had. Coffee was great too. However, customer service could use some work. After serving us our food, our waiter didn’t ask us if we needed anything else nor did she come to check up on us to see if we needed any refills.
The food was delicious!
Our group got egg rolls, Thai fried rice with beef, masman curry, green curry and pompano.
Our server was great too. He was very knowledgeable about the food and gave recommendations.
My only complaint was that there were a couple fruit flies hovering around our table.
Delicious food and also zabiha halal
Nice pleasant atmosphere, very friendly service, all 4 of us enjoyed the food. Would definitely go again.

Will definitely be my new spot for Pad Thai.
Very good food they even have imitation chicken and tofu for those that don't eat meat. This place is my new spot love it
Great food great customer service people are very kind and are amazing people to talk to and I would recommend this to all
Excellent food and service
I was there last night, I live in Northfield which is 48 miles away. I was visiting and doing a little shopping. I wish it wasn't so far away, but I'd drive there just to eat there every month. Fabulous food!!! Always a great meal! Yum!!!

Best Thai restaurant
Amazing food, clean atmosphere, fantastic customer service. Highly recommend!

Went to dinner tonight, and was very disappointed with the service and my order of Pad Thai with mixed vegetables and chicken. Mind you they have raised their prices, so all the prices on the menu have been blacked out. I wanted to order pork egg rolls and was told all we have is beef. Ordered Pad Thai with chicken and mixed vegetables. This dish had very little chicken or vegetables, except broccoli, no carrots, counted 2 beans, 4 small pieces of sweet pepper, as well as celery. When the bill came. I was charged $3.64 extra for the vegetables. I challenged the price of the vegetables, the person behind counter walked away. I paid the bill, but left no tip. There was only one server who also had to answer the phone, and get the orders out. This is the last time I will eat here. Think twice about eating here.
This place is so delicious! Great service! Chicken wings were very crispy, loved the cream cheese puffs, red chicken curry. Cannot wait to return!
I did not like the fried rice but enjoyed the Thai tea. Price seem decent.
Yall gotta get rid of the flies, food is decent but nobody wanna eat where its not clean.
Fast assertive and customer friendly Lovet food is lit 🔥🔥🫵🏾🫡🫡💯🫶🏾
Fast service and some of the best curry around, I don't know any other place like it!
I’ve only ordered from here with DoorDash. The salad is excellent but their noodle dishes are terrible. Yesterday I ordered pad Thai with chicken + extra chicken. All I got was sticky left over noodles with NO meat, NO bean sprouts, NO peanuts! Last time I ordered rad nar and again the noodles were dried out and stuck together. It’s as if they send their leftover garbage to their DoorDash deliveries. Never again. This place should be closed down in my opinion.
The food was so good especially the red curry. The portion sizes were tiny for the price compared to other Thai or Asian restaurants over the years. Maybe times have changed though.
Tasty Thai food here! I ordered the Tom Kha with chicken - it was very good. My mister ordered a Noodle Bowl with pork. Both were very good. I would eat here again if I was in the area. [The dualing music was off-putting (kitchen music & the restaurant music could both be heard clearly).... & the tables were a little sticky.]
Excellent Thai food!! We go there for the food.
Amazing duck curry! Had a minor issue with the meal and they ended up letting me have it on the house. A+++ will be eating there again.
Long time customer here, I noticed when the owner isn't around and it's the two younger waitors, the service is non-existent, we didn't get our waters refilled or asked if the food was fine. We doordashed a few times and noticed that they would forget one thing. Tables were sticky and flies were around our food. I would still love to eat here but it's lacking on the customer service and cleanliness. Also, the parking lot needs a lot of attention, I understand it may cost a lot but at least have visible lines so people know where to park
They don’t care honestly, no service, and the owner will be screaming while everyone is trying to eat.
Ordered two massaman curries from here, ordered one spicy and the other one medium. The flavor is good for massaman curry however, the spice is absolutely non existent. I called back in and they did apologize and offered to remake it but warned me it wouldn’t be a full order (?) or I could come back and they could make some of the broth for me with the spice (again ?) or just give me the spices (?), no I just paid close to $40 for pickup with tip for a spicy massaman curry. I would also need to bring the original order back which again is fine, but I already mixed it together in a Tupperware container with its rice. I finally told the employee this was too much hassle and just to forget about it and I appreciated her help. This is the third time this has happened to me when I’ve ordered it spicy, the other two times I didnt say anything because its just not worth it but with prices being what they are to get a good dinner, its just not acceptable that it isn’t made right the first time. The other problem is we will probably be back here since its the only decent Thai food in the area, but I’ll be sure to clearly communicate what I am expecting next time, even though I thought I did the last three times. Life moves on!
I had put four stars on this place before ate there twice a week Worked right by there. Got my orders wrong several times but corrected it but then I was charged.
2 days in a row, time-stamped the same exact time There is no way I could show up.At exactly the same time , two days in a row with the way my lunch's work. And then a third time Later that week I only eat there 2 days a week And never ate there 2 days in a row Have never.. Dealt with the one person I hadn't seen Before was total jerk when I explain?I don't eat there 2 days in a row at the exact same time.
My Debit card, show me Time Stamped. This is not a coincidence.Somehow I was charged the next day. At. exactly the same time been going there for a year But will never return when people want to rip me Off And bank would Not do dispute.
Refund , And I'm switching banks. watch your credit cards with these people. Or.
Debit cards Swore young man had me. Swipe the card twice Pretty stupid to lose $30 a week.Regular customer for 14.98 Besides, asking me for a receipt like I'm gonna have that and return the food she saw my banking app wasn't good enough for her. I go to hyvee For their specials of the week Wednesday, I get a pork chop 2 sides.$7 Thursday.I get steak and 2 sides for $10 Friday.I get fish and French fries for $6. Good bye thai King
Beef pad thai was great! Will definitely be back
Highly recommend the pad see yew, green curry, and egg rolls
This place is a scam. Service is non existence. Flies are everywhere inside. The prepared "food" was a total waste of material. Rice looked and tasted like raw and salty. I could hardly tell what's what in the plate for what I ordered. I could hardly swallow 1/3 of the small portion. I should have trusted my instinct and turned away from this place once I stepped out of my Uber ride in the rundown parking lot of this place.
Parking lot has a bunch of potholes. Inside was warmer than outside (this was during a 80 degrees weather day). I was disappointed in the Pho Combo. The pho combo is $16.50 and it included 3 shrimps, 1 little slice of beef, and like 4 meatballs. There is barely any broth and noodles. The basil leaves that came with the pho on the side were not fresh either. Literally gave us 2 slices of Jalapeños to share among 2 people. I finished my bowl of pho with literally only 2 bites. Pho broth was pretty oily too. Solid 3/10 pho for the PRICE. If the price was LOWERED to about $8, then the pho would be a solid 7/10-8/10, but I feel cheated paying $16.50 for this bowl of pho. Never coming back again and I see why there wasn’t any customers there…
Incredible food, great service. This is the REAL DEAL!
I absolutely love the food here, but the last 4-5 times I've ordered online from them they've messed up the order, from missing whole items to not even making the item right. Not sure what's going on, didn't used to be this bad with orders. Figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt the first few times since their food is great, but the continual mess up of orders including missing items is just plain annoying and unacceptable. Last time I'll be ordering from them, sadly.
The food was nasty and crappie. It used to be good but the last two times was totally nasty. Never go back period. Very grosse tasting.
I want to give 5 stars. The food is great with flavor and options. However, the thai tea is incredibly sweet - not just my opinion. If the sweetness could be toned down, it would definitely sell more. And any time I've ordered a specific spiciness level, it has come out wrong. Usually I will just get no spice when I've asked for medium, Spicy, or Extra Spicy (I like the heat to be authentic). Other than that it's yummy.
Honestly, the owner seems to be ok with having just one person doing cashier, service and cleaning all at once with a full restaurant. We are never greeted and basically just eat and leave. They have also make substitute to the food without letting you know beforehand.
They have amazing potential, but as of now, not impressed. Will not go back for now.
Very rude service.
The service was abysmal. Our server was exceptionally rude and insisted that my wife had mistakenly called a different restaurant in St. Paul to make our reservation, despite us being regular patrons. In all our previous visits, we had always been treated kindly by the owner/manager David, who is courteous and professional.
On this visit, however, the credit card machine was broken, and the server refused to provide clean plates, leaving us to use chipped and broken ones instead. To top it off, she added an extra gratuity without any justification. This was the final straw for us, and we will not be returning. I strongly advise against dining here if you expect professional and courteous service.
I love their food but yesterday I ordered online for pick up, went to get my food and it was closed. Open light was on, hours online said it was open. They did refund me but I am still confused on what their hours are and why I could order online when they aren't actually open? Should probably put correct hours on the website then, that would be helpful.
Love the food the people and the building
Food was great 10/10. Gave them 3 stars due to the service. Wasn’t busy at all, husband and I were the only ones there. Server just left us a pitcher of water and stayed in the kitchen the whole time. Owner should definitely check his staff and re-train them. We could have just dined and dash but we are not like that.
Everything you order is always wrong. They forget basic things like sauces. It's sad to see this place go so far downhill.
I was charged $127 when my bill was $98. I left a tip of $10. Only to discover that was fraudulently overcharged the next day. They admitted overcharging me but refused to refund the amount overcharged.
This place is wonderful. Thanks I'm coming back. Great food.
Service was really nice! We had a toddler and they never complained. They even gave her a jelly candy on the way out.
Food was decent, a little on the sweeter side. Unfortunately, I dont like my food sweeter, so it's a no for me. However, my husband liked it! So it depends on your taste.
Appetizers we had the cream cheese wontons and pork skewers. Entrees, we had the duck curry, drunken noodles, and khao piak.
My favorites were the pork skewers and khao piak.
Fresh, delicious food! Personable staff!
Update: still my go to for Curry - their Coconut Curry is bomb, Pad Thai, egg rolls, and pinapple fried rice still amaze!
Not sure what happened to the service though...the last two times I have been here it was not even comparable to the excellent service we received a few years ago. Innatentive and not very friendly. The service was one of the reasons that kept me coming back! Sad.
Also, I am a Pho connoisseur, and I was not impressed. We ordered the Chicken Pho, and the broth was almost yellow and tasted like watered down chicken noodle soup with lemon. Maybe we needed to ask for spices or darker broth??
Very yummy! Definitely a local favorite. The owner is so friendly and kind. We had pad see ew, fried rice, and panang curry. All yum!
Went there for lunch with a friend. Food was great. Ordered a TomYum soup, chicken fried rice and calamari.
The waitress was very abrupt and distracted. We waited over 30 minutes before our food was ready. When I brought it up with the owner/manager, he basically brushed me off and told me that I need to be patient and walked away. As for the waitress, she practically threw our dishes on the edge of the table and walked away. The main dish and appetizer were delivered at the same time.
It was very disappointing.
We go here 2x per month, and the food is always great. Both Dine In and Take Out are awesome. We love the curry dishes. This is a gem in Fridley.
Food is fresh, delicious, and affordable.
Shout out to the Owner. He noticed my 3 yr old getting bored, so he got her a small toy from their grab machine. So much appreciated.
The food was really good!!!!!!!!!
Thr parking lot looked little empty when we at there, just little after 2pm, and was worried thr food wouldn't be good, but to my surprise the flavor was ON POINT!!!!
We be coming back with friends and family for sure
The Best food and friendliest staff around!
This place is great. Used to have to drive to Uptown to get good Thai food. I'm so glad there is something closer now. Reasonable prices too. The red curry noodle soup is awesome...ordered it both times I've been there now. Egg rolls are crispy and tasty as well. We'll definitely be back!
Food is legitimate. Ask for things how you like it and they will do it.
We ordered takeout, and it did not disappoint! Such good food, and the service was excellent! I highly recommend the egg rolls, hands down the most delicious item!
Easily the best Thai food we’ve had in the cities! My husband and I went to Thailand for our honeymoon and have been looking for a local spot that offers truly authentic Thai cuisine, and these dishes take us right back. We found out the women making the food used to work the street food markets in Thailand. ❤️ Can’t recommend this place enough!
Try the pho! The pad Thai is great too!
We have been here a couple times now and they have been consistently delicious. The chicken satay is my favorite! 😍 and the food can actually come spicy! It's been hard to find a place with decent spice, they got it covered 👍
Always great service!
Hands down, best service in Minnesota!
Phenomenal food every time. Try the Kings Wings. You won’t be disappointed..
This place has been a fave for years!! Special egg roll and chicken pineapple fried rice. They are really quick but maybe lack a little personality.
Food and atmosphere were great. There was only one server, and while she was somewhat busy, she could have been more personable. We will eat there again.
The food is delicious and SUPER HOT. I had the shrimp green curry with red and green bell peppers. It was served in green curry sauce with rice on the side. I had two appetizers: spring rolls and pot stickers each with its own dipping sauce. The service was exceptional. The food came hot and ready to eat. I had green tea to top it off.
Where you spend your $ matters. I want everyone to know what a great restaurant King’s Thai is and what amazing ownership it has. After learning during a customers unexpected visit that the large order of egg rolls was to be given to those less fortunate, they comped the entire bill even the tip. Amazing! We need more people like them in this world. King’s Thai is a chain so please look for their restaurants and give them a try! Support businesses that support others.
Great food, not the best service, but it was bearable / worth it for the food.
Food was great 10 outa 10 would recommend.
Dining at The King’s Thai Cuisine was an enchanting experience that skillfully blended tradition and innovation in Thai cuisine. The authenticity of flavors in dishes like Pad Thai, pad krapao and Tom Yum soup was remarkable, capturing the essence of Thai culture with each bite. What sets this restaurant apart is its commitment to quality, utilizing locally sourced ingredients that elevate the dining experience. The warm ambiance and attentive staff complemented the culinary journey, making The King’s Thai Cuisine a must-visit for those seeking an authentic Thai food.
Highly recommended and will go again!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was in from out of state, and happened to be lucky enough to find this place.
The food was amazing! The service was spectacular! The people were very nice, and very attentive. I will eat here again without question!
Came here to eat Fried Rice and Pho. Taste was great. The portions were Good 👍 😊
I was able to meet the owner, very cool guy. Overall the food is excellent and the customer service is 10/10. Best Thai food in the state so far, I recommend this place for sure!
This place has amazing food which is reasonably priced. If you don't mind bones, get the pompano, it's life-changing!
The food is great is good however they would scam you or gyp you on the prices. This is my last time going there. I ordered me the stuff chicken wings and a beef fried rice. It came up to $25 OK next day I ordered me the stuff chicken wings with the chicken fried rice and then come up to the same price $25, so it either they charge me the same as beef when i got chicken remind you chicken is supposed to be cheaper than beef my price was identical from today’s and yesterday they gypped me.
We love Kings Thai! Come here pretty often and the owner and his staff are so wonderful and friendly. The food is AMAZING and it’s our favorite Thai place to eat. Such a great spot!
First off, I've tried this restaurant on multiple occasions. First time my wife and I had the food here wasn't bad. Second, third, and even the fourth time it was decent for Thai food in the fridge area.
Fast forward a year later. The quality has dropped quite a bit. Red curry had overcooked veggies. The bell peppers were soggy. Chicken was hard like jerky. The only thing decent was the broth.
The pad Thai was more salty than sweet. Yes, salty. Every Thai person knows pad Thai isn't supposed to be saltier than sweet.
The papaya was not fire at all. And I literally mean that. This is the first Thai restaurant that doesn't ask how many Thai chilli peppers I want in my papaya salad. Instead they go by spice level. How the hell do you differentiate spice level for a papaya salad without knowing how many chilli peppers are used? Front of house waiter was clueless too when picking up the phone call. But then he tells me he'll let the cook know to put 3 peppers. When I got home, I tasted no spice in my salad. Ended up digging through the entire salad and found ZERO peppers. All I tasted was salty and sour. Ridiculous I tell ya!
Also, this time around I noticed how all the customers dining in were white people. It was a full house too. Should have trusted my instincts this time...SMH
Great food. Great service.
Amazing food! They give back to the community. That alone deserves our business
Hands down the best Thai food in the twin cities. I lived in a state that had amazing authentic Thai food, but struggled to find a place in Minnesota that matched what I was used to. This place is amazing and brings back "home" to me. The green curry and pad see yew are my favorites, but you won't go wrong with anything you order here. Did I mention they have sticky rice too? But also, the staff are all super awesome too. I've both eaten in as well as take away.
Incredible food every time, attentive service, and the owner is often coming out to check in with customers. Our go-to’s are spring rolls & chicken satay (both come with AMAZING side sauces), green curry and pad Thai (the most flavorful I’ve ever had). 10/10 wonderful.
I love this restaurant! I always get the Pho King Good. Best Pho for miles around!
We have been going to King’s Thai for the past 4 years or so. The food and service is fantastic. Our favorites are Basil fried rice, Drunken Noodles, Yellow curry and the Panang. The owner has assured us that all beef and chicken (except for wings) are halal. Service is very good and the co owner is very friendly and welcoming. We’ve gotten food to-go too but having it at the restaurant tastes even better. Definitely our top 5 halal restaurants in the Twin Cities. Wish them much success!
Great food and service!!! Needs a little paint and a good scrub!
Best meal we’ve had in ages!!!!! We got cream cheese puffs, kings wings, red curry and pork belly stir fry. I asked about accommodating a severe nut allergy upon walking in and the waiter was so confident In telling me it was no issue which was very reassuring and I had no issues. Initially I got green curry and when I mentioned it was too spicy she immediately said she’d grab the red one instead at no extra charge and it was the best curry I’d ever had. Will definitely be returning both for the service and amazing food!!!
Best Thai Food in the state!
UPDATE 12/26/23:
I've returned to dine here 6-8 times since posting the review below. Remains one of the very best for fresh and flavorful Thai entrees in the Metro area.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Wow! We hadn't been here for years, since the new owners took over. The place always had good food, but was rather run down. Refreshed dining room is an improvement. Food today was outstanding! Spring rolls were fresh and loaded. Drunken Noodles were perfectly seasoned with ample fresh basil. Pad Thai with shrimp was excellent. The shrimp were tender and plentiful. It's obvious that the customers here on this day were regulars. There owner seemed to know most who came and went while were there.
Everytime iGo or order the food is always fresh & delicious. My favorite is the king's wings and the beef Thai pad noodles.🔥🔥🔥
We loved the food.
The food is so good there won't be any leftovers.
Wow- easily the best Thai I’ve had in the Twin Cities. My party ordered vegetarian egg rolls, sai gok, gaeng ped pla (fish curry), drunken noodles with extra mixed veggies, and the pad kra pao kai dao with fried tofu. The manager was extremely friendly and welcoming, he offered multiple recommendations and even threw in free sticky rice for us to enjoy with the sai gok! We truly could not have asked for better service.
The sai gok was delicious, probably the most flavorful sausages I have ever had. They were nicely spiced with notes of ginger and a well-balanced salsa to accompany it.
The drunken noodles were amazing. Usually I struggle with restaurants that serve them dry but these were served with a great amount of flavorful sauce. We ordered this at a medium spice level which was absolutely perfect and nowhere near too spicy. Also, the chili oil they have is amazing! But definitely be careful as it does get pretty hot.
The pad kra pao kai dao with fried tofu was also excellent. We ordered it at a medium spice level and we finished the entire plate.
My favorite dish was the gaeng ped pla. I ordered this at the hot spice level. I was expecting it to be substantially spicier than the drunken noodles, but I think the creaminess of the curry balanced it out. It still did leave a nice burning sensation though. The fish was beautifully cooked and flaked apart, they also give a lot of it in huge chunks which I really enjoyed.
We had an amazing experience at The King’s Thai Cuisine and definitely plan to return soon for the delicious food and fantastic service!
Fantastic food haven’t had a sub par meal yet. Curry dishes are some of the best I’ve had
The Chef here grew up in Thailand cooking street food! Everything we have tried has been amazing! The atmosphere is also awesome, they treat you like family!
Papaya salad was very good as were lettuce wraps. I like the no nonsense service and atmosphere.
Looked up reviews on the Google Machine to find a new place to try and landed here.
Walked in on a Saturday evening around 6:30p. Kind of confusing what to do until the only server asked us if we had an order to pick up or dine. Told us to sit anywhere we wanted.
Atmosphere.. Kind of a basic and run down place.. Which often can imply good food. I am OK with that. Not going to knock off any stars.
Service, just OK. Not the most friendly, but also not bad either. We had to grab our own menus, not sure if that is the norm. More about just business and taking our order when we were ready. Brought both our dishes about 5 minutes apart. Had to track them down to get a spoon as only forks and chopsticks at the table.
Food.. My wife ordered pho and I got masman curry with beef. The pho came first. Curry came later. The pho was just mid - if you are a pho afficionado, go somewhere else. The curry had fantastic flavor. The beef in both our dishes was inconsistent. Some bites were tender and others very chewy/grisly. (side note, had their red curry with chicken for takeout awhile back and it was great. The chicken was breast and a little dry, I prefer dark meat. But it was overall great.)
Probably won't go out of my way to come back, but if in the area I might come back. I would try another curry option as this is what I liked from there so fat, but maybe with tofu or another protein next time.
Hidden gem, great food.
This place is absolutely fantastic. Your taste buds will be on cloud 9. Spicy here does mean spicy so if you can’t handle spice stay mild. Can’t wait to come back.
If I had 6 stars to give I would. Truly incredible food
10/10, the service was the best. Food came out hot, fresh, delicious, large portions, and packed with so much flavor. It’s a great atmosphere, a hidden gem, with affordable prices. If you don't believe me, try it for yourself. The two gentlemen who waited on me were so pleasant and treated me very well. They both knew the assignment. Please tell all your friends, family, and co-workers, or have your first date at The Kings Thai Cuisine. It’s a family-owned restaurant, and we should support and have this place packed all the time. I got (N76) with Shrimp and the spring rolls- I came out with a full stomach, and I still left out with a doggy bag.
nice place with good options.
Notable: Fried rice, pork belly
Everything I irder here is always on point and delicious. We have tried many of their dishes and the papaya salad and chicken on a stick are by far the best in this state..
You gots to get the egg rolls!!
Everything in the menu looked good. We decided to have the wonton soup (S23), curry fried rice (R65) with chicken, coconut red curry soup with vermicelli noodles (N73), and silver thread noodles with egg, celery, Napa cabbage, onions and carrot with tofu (N76). The food was very tasty and garnished just right. Service was top notch . We will definitely be back!
THE BEST!
Great local Thai restaurant. The whole family and kids enjoy the food offered. Always dined in but one of these days I’ll grab take out.
Food unbelievable full flavor and so delicious too.
It's worth the drive to this place and we'll come back
Best Thai restaurant
I ordered take out an hour back. I am dismayed to find my egg rolls burnt and the shrimp rolls are burnt also. Such poor quality. There was no way the chef and the others would not have known that the food is over-fried and burnt. Yet they packed it up anyway…what did u guys think..I wouldn’t notice…? Then I also ordered the curry Basil with chicken…mushrooms were burnt so it made the whole curry taste bad…all food was fed to the trash can…poor quality of food
There are other better Thai places in town check those out guys. Stay away from this one…this is the KING of bad quality
very friendly and helpful owners and staff. cooked with high quality, quick and tasty
Been going here for over a decade, used to be my favorite. Food quality/taste has depreciated. This last time.. found a long hair in my fried rice. Immediately lost my appetite.
Excellent food!... Great owners and staff... Best Thai food in the Twin cities!!
Ordered food through Door Dash last week. It was AMAZING.
Ordered today via Door Dash and i ordered the same thing as last week.
Masman Curry and egg rolls
Curry was half the previous size, did not have the potatoes in it and was so spicy I was unable to eat it.
The egg rolls had great flavor inside but had been fried too long and therefore the whole thing tasted like burned grease.
It's really sad to see a business not care about the quality of food they send out via delivery. Even more frustrating to wait 45 minutes for dinner and then still have to cook dinner because the food was not edible.
Will never order from here again.
excellent meal!!
Stepped in for the first time. Food was fire and owners are very friendly.
Curry was amazing. Staff was super friendly. Nice little spot!!
Food was delicious. Service was quick and SUPER friendly. A+ for our server!!
Service was great, but the food was hit and miss. Went with a group of people and half the people loved their food and half the people hated theirs and tossed it. We liked the stir fry way more than the noodles.
This is such a great place with amazing service. We have yet to have bad service here. We came in today with a party of 5 and had a picky eater in the group.
Great food and service. The manager (owner?) went out of his way to find out where we were from and thanked us for stopping. I had the red chicken curry and my wife had the pad thai. They were both fabulous. Will definitely come back when we are in the area.
Moved to the area and wanted to get some good Thai. This place is an absolute gem! The food is amazing, quality is impeccable, and the service is spot on! For dining in or carry out this is the place to go! Get the heavenly beef; it’s amazing.
Best place to eat I loved it
Pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Definitely worth a visit back! Plenty of vegetarian options :)
They have good food here. The owner is a very nice guy and they serve the Halal community.
food is soooo good!! literally love the papaya, beef laab, kaopiek and pad Thai! came here twice in 2 days, and will continue to be back! the restaurant is clean and more modernized compared to other Asian restaurants. bathrooms are clean! and the customer service is amazing!
Hands down my new favorite place to eat locally! The Pho King Good was exactly that & service was excellent, we will be back again & again!
Stopped in for dinner while in the area. The staff was welcoming and we were promptly served. Ordered a few dishes and an appetizer and everything was delicious. The food came out fast and we saw many regulars coming in and being welcomed back by the host/server/owner. We love Thai food and this was some of the best we’ve had in the cities. Wish we lived closer!
The best Thai food I've had! Would recommend to anyone. I haven't had much Thai food before but this was a great experience !
If you haven't been there yet, put it on your NEED to try list. You'll be back, again and again!!!
Very straightforward restaurant with a good sized menu. I liked the variety of options but the pad see ew and cream cheese wontons were both a bit too sweet for me. I’d try it again to see if other dishes suit me better. Service very friendly and attentive.
Food was good. Staff was friendly. Will definitely go again.
Clean atmosphere, friendly service, good and plentiful food. Had pot stickers, egg rolls and Thai salad. All were very good.
A regular restaurant for me. Everytime I crave my moms home cooking, I'll come here! The food is authentic and delicious. Even asked for extra sauce and they hooked me up.
Not sure how to rate, service was actually great, but bag should have been double bagged and in plastic. It leaked thru paperbag and all over my car. Food was awesome as it always is!!
As a lifelong Minneapolitan and a GenXer, I never thought I’d utter the words “I just trekked all the way to Fridley on the advice of a TikTok video,” but…I just did, and it was well worth it! Food at the King’s Thai was really good, and the service was super friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be making the return trip.
Paid thai and fried rice are always good!
Fantastic Thai food. Owner is very friendly. Pho, angel wings/stuffed wings, eggrolls, and every entree we have had have been terrific.
Very good food and good customer service. We had a variety of chicken dishes all very good. And halal
This is my favorite restaurant in the service is wonderful The owner and staff are very accommodating. They are definitely a great plus to the community I love their pad Thai.
The soup has a rich and complex broth. Delicious
Whatever you get don't get chicken wonton soup. You'll be surprise. Chicken satay was good. Beef laab missing flavors, just taste sour and the rice powder could chip a tooth. First and last time. Anyone who says this is the best thai food must have never gone anywhere else.
Larb, cream cheese wonton, pho, are fantastic. Kid friendly- even a free treat for kids! Great food. It was very busy and took a little while for service and food but worth the wait.
Excellent service and food.
Great experience at King's. Food was tasty and the service was prompt. If you ask for it to be spicy, be prepared for it to be very spicy lol. Should maybe have a spiciness level offering (1-5) like many Thai restaurants. Overall met my expectations. The egg rolls were spectacular.
Great service. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I wanted egg drop soup but it wasn't on the menu so they figured out how to make it and I got my egg drop soup. The fried cream cheese wontons were delicious. They had the very thin wonton wrapper that I love so they were very and delicious.
The best in Minnesota
The gentlemen waiter has a very positive attitude.
I got to go. I live 4 minutes away. My white rice was cold. The meat in both dishes, chicken & pork were not good. Dry flavorless and tough.
Fried rice had decent flavor, so 2 starts instead of 1.
First time trying this place & was really happy with the flavors, spice level, and customer service. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of is that it took so long to get the pho out. By the time it came out, I was practically full from everything else so I couldn’t enjoy it to my liking.
Edit: visit a second time & included more pics
We have been there several times. Food is amazing. Try the whole fish. Atmosphere is comfortable. Owner is awesome and has great care for food and people.
Hadn't been here in a while though do carryout. Had the chicken lemon soup, one of my faves. The recipe has changed. Though tasted good, I prefer the previous recipe. This one was much too creamy and kind of thick. Don't know if it used a thickener or too much coconut cream, but I felt the chicken and lemon flavor was a bit blunted. But it was good, just my preference for the thinner, chicken and lemon forward broth. Family owned and operated by friendly, professional crew. I will continue to be a regular. Same stellar job on the stuffed chicken wings!
When you think Thai cuisine “bland” doesn’t usually come to mind, but this had to be the most bland Thai food I’ve had. It’s unfortunate because it’s great to have options in the suburbs and the staff are kind. All three dishes were lacking seasoning and spice. The pad thai was flavorless with dry chicken with noodles, peanuts and a lemon on the side. No herbs or sauce to make up for it either. The fried rice and pad nam man hoi are not standouts either. Other reviews show seemingly more seasoned dishes, so perhaps delivery for food ordered after 7pm is just a miss.
The veggies were too hard but the satay was primo!
