Diner Review №1

I love the Tom yum soup and it taste so good. Ever time I come to visit winona I have to stop there but they always close.

Food is amazing. Service isn't always great, but it's always worth going back. All the curries on the menu are delicious. However, be forewarned, if it's described as spicy you had better believe it's spicy. I love some heat, but this is off the charts. Note they will not adjust the heat either. Still very much worth it. Winona is a food desert, and this is one the few that are good.

As a small business Thai restaurant owner, I have learned a lot of things from variety groups of customer, who come to our place.
The first group, friendly and kind people, who are sincerely like to support our business to stablish in their hometown. This group is our angles of the long hard working day.
The second group, these people like to try and to learn in varieties taste of oriental food for their experiences. They come and go as they like. Most of them are nice people and open minds for different cultures.
The third group, they likes to stab behind our backs any time, just to satisfy their emotional illness, or to get rid frustration from their lives by attacking minorities group in their hometown “just for fun.” It seems they fear to discuss any matter in front of me. They act like they were the people who live in the Ivory tower for the rest of their lives.
The third group, their expectation in service is too high to reach, but they try to find the cheapest and the lowest price to pay. Let say they like the good, but must in the cheap. This group love to complain and like to search for all negative details from the others human being as much as they can, just to make their doomy day turn to bright. They are the wonderful complainers, (applause three times :) Only one question please, who force you to come to our place to ruin your day, sir?
There are many of Thai restaurants in the U.S.A, please select one for your choice, and please do not waste your energy to come to our place again. Because I do not want you to get frustrate, it is unhealthy for your brains and minds. I love to see you to have long lives so that you can find more negative details around the world to enjoy yourselves, and it will be more fun than this small Thai restaurant.
This third group is specialist in complaining since the first day they were born, but they only complain to minority groups, who try to work hard and stand alone in surviving. Does this group dare to complain about the people who corrupt the society? No! Do they dare to complain about any murder that kills innocent people? NO. Why? Because they are afraid to get feedback too.
Do I afraid to lose my business because of these negative comments? NO, I AM NOT. Because nothing on this earth is permanent, and nothing is stable forever. Day to come, then day to go as a cycle, this is my motto. I’m in this business not for expanding, but for surviving. If I have to search for a new way for living, I will. But I will never bend my knees to ask for mercy from this cruel world.
In the future, if my place is not here to serve this community, the third group customers will be the most loneliest group and will miss me a lot as their emotional illness therapist.
May I give you my advice with love? Instead to search for all negative in my small business for the rest of your lives, please try to learn meditation just five or ten minutes a day to keep your blood pressure down to normal. Instead complaining about smelly fish sauce in Thai food, try your own cooking at your kitchen so that your food will come out perfect as you like. Plus it is cheaper too.
Thank you very much for let me learn about your ancestor’s roots from your negative comments. Have a great day and take care.

Best place in town when and if they are open! Dont order it spicy...you will regret it!!!

Diner Review №5

We frequent Asian restaurants so we were excited to see a Thai option in Winona. We were quite disappointed by the service and food. When we ordered we were offered sticky rice and then told 'we'll bring it if there is any left'; a better rule is not to offer it if you don't have it. Our table of four did not receive our food at the same time and it was evident that the food was pre-packed and frozen. The dishes were not authentic Thai in either taste or preparation.

EXCELLENT FOOD.

Diner Review №7

Food is decent but the dude(owner) is a tool!!

Diner Review №8

Warning! I got food poisoning here. Place is terrible and desolate and needs to shut down. It's unreasonable that the only Thai place in town can't be decent.

Diner Review №9

Spicy, tasty, awesome. It isn't a polish atmosphere, but it's flavorful and oh so good. The smells alone is so good, and worth driving from La Crosse for!

Diner Review №10

We ordered takeout from here after reading good things about it, but it was BAD! The food did come out fast, but the crab rangoon was soggy, squishy, and undercooked. My wife ordered pad thai and it was REALLY heavy on the fish sauce and it was all she (and I) could taste. My meal was fine but forgettable. I certainly didn't think it was worth the price and I wouldn't go back. The owner was incredibly rude as well, but that seems to be a theme with other reviews I've read. I honestly don't know how this place gets any good reviews unless they're manufactured by the people that work there. Skip this restaurant and spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

Little Thailand is the best place I have found here in Winona. It's nothing like those americanizes asian restaurants. The food is exceptionally fresh and flavorful. If the menu says it's hot, then it's hot! I love spice, however I have to order mild when I go here. I recommend the Chicken Pad Thai, the Kow Pad Ka Poa Kai, or the Pangan Gai with sticky rice.

Diner Review №12

The food is really fantastic. If the menu says the food is hot, it is really really hot. You can ask for less spice but flavor might suffer too.

Only one person cooks so it will take a long to for a full table to get their food and the older gentleman is very defensive of his wife's cooking.

They hired a bubbly assistant to help with tables now so the service has improved considerably.

This restaurant is more than a must try but a must return! Get the pad thai and a spring roll! You will have plenty of left overs! Super good, and the owners are great too! Made my wife very happy, she loves this place and keeps begging me to go back! Great food, and a relaxing atmosphere!

Diner Review №14

The rudest place I've ever been. Went with a small group for dinner, and ordered an appetizer. 45 minutes later the waiter brings a dish I didn't order, and my table confirms that this is the wrong dish. Despite continually asking what was in the dish they mistakenly brought (because if it sounded good, I'd have taken it!), he immaturely refused to answer me, just insisting that I HAD ordered it. The waiter and cook decide that because THEY made an error they would refuse to make our entire table our dinner orders. Great business plan, guys, alienate your few customers in a small town out of pettiness. We'll certainly never go back.

Diner Review №15

The food is incredible and authentic Thai cooking! The Kow Pud Naam fried rice dish with sour sausage tastes great and is big enough to comfortably split an entree between two people. The decor is pretty low grade, but clean. But the service....oh the service. They appear to be employing a mildly hostile older gentlemen with extremely limited social skills to wait tables. When you sit down he approaches you, looms for a good minute, then grunts "Wantsomewaterorwhat?" and then side shuffled away without being provided an answer. When an extremely hot pepper got into one of the mild dishes and we mentioned it he combatively said that we didn't know what hot was and insisted that we in fact did not get a hot pepper. He breathes loudly through his mouth. Hire a bubbly asian exchange student from the college, and ditch Lurch. I give Little Thailand another three months at best.
