Explore the vibrant and diverse street food culture of Thailand
Amazing Thai food, highly recommend if you're nearby.
We had a reservation for opening but we could have just walked in (it looks like the restaurant filled out around 6).
The curry pancakes (4/5) were a delicious way to start the meal. The only blemish of the meal was they accidentally gave us the non-happy hour portion which costs 3x as much. But we didn't realize until we ate the entire thing, so we weren't too upset.
The short rib (4/5) was good and definitely enough to share between people. Our favorite was the krapow moo (5/5) - delicious pork which was marinated well with a slight kick. The cocktails and desserts were solid.
Service was great. Our server Tee was attentive and the food all came out quickly. We'd happily return.
A NYC Gem That's Pure Thai Magic! ✨
Forget the hype, Pranakhon delivers authentic Thai cuisine that's so good, it's what culinary dreams are made of. This Michelin Bib Gourmand winner is everything I love about New York dining: unique, outstanding, and bursting with flavor. My recent visit was a culinary journey straight to Thailand, and I can't wait to go back.
Our party sampled a variety of dishes, and everything was incredible. Personally, I dove headfirst into their fish soup, and it was a revelation! The broth was a masterclass in balance, hitting every flavor dimension perfectly. It was truly one of the best fish soups I've ever had.
Beyond the food, Pranakhon nails the ambiance. It's authentically Thai, transporting you from the bustling NYC streets to a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. And the staff? Stellar! Attentive, friendly, and passionate about the food they serve.
If you're looking for a truly special dining experience, Pranakhon is a must. Do yourself a favor and treat your taste buds to this amazing establishment. You won't regret it!
The food was so good!! One of the nicest Thai restaurant in the area! The atmosphere is so cozy and unique too, like vintage mixed with modern Thai street vibes! Brought our friend here for his birthday and it was a great decision! Their service was really great too, our waitress BB was really helpful and friendly! Recommend the fried enoki mushroom (winter menu) and the Tom yum shrimp!
Pranakhon is a fantastic spot, whether you’re looking for a quick lunch or a relaxed evening. The food is flavorful and satisfying, served promptly without compromising quality. The vibe is welcoming, and their craft cocktails are a must-try if you have time to linger. A great choice for any occasion!
The food in Pranakhon is superb! They have the best authentic pad Thai street food style! Aaaahhh the moment I had a bite, it brought back memories of Bangkok! Their mussels were also good!!! And of course the Thai Iced Tea. We went during lunch hour so there was no wait time…. Can’t wait to be back to try other food in the menu! Also really must commend the staff for their attention to detail! Service was also quick! Highly recommend this place!!!!
Very very tasty Thai food. Felt like I was back in Thailand. The service is quick and attentive. Very nice workers. The food was very filling and the waitress recommended good dishes. The drinks were also very good so I totally recommended this place. 3 platters , a appetizer and 3 cocktails for $160? Not too bad for NY if you ask me lol.
Incredible!
Great food, exceptional service. Shout out to Mhew for taking care of us. If youre reading this, you ate girl. Period slayyyy 💅🏻💅🏻
Love our waitress BB
Loved everything about this restaurant. Food ambiance and service (tee was our server, super nice and attentive!) were all top tier.
Authentic, flavorful Thai with a beautiful ambience. Best to make a reservation as dinner gets very busy. Shout out to Tee for delivering such outstanding service. Highly rec!
The food and service here is excellent! Tee was very attentive and a great server. Highly recommend the tomyum shrimp, pad thai, and braised rib.
Tee provided such excellent service and the food was incredible!
I come here a lot and the food is always amazing and authentic. Today the service is what made the night amazing. Bonus (sorry If I misspelled the name) and Gab P were amazing. Best service I have experienced in a very long time. Will be coming here a lot more.
Tee is incredible!!! So kind and helped us figure out what to order
we loved our waitress!!!!!!! BB P. She was amazing. Also food… unreal 10/10
The food was delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. We’ve had Thai in many spots around the city before and this definitely stands out among the rest. The dishes were aromatic with Thai spices and there’s a wide selection of drinks and cocktails. BB P the waitress who accommodated our table was incredibly nice and her recommendation of the pad Thai was amazing! She was right, pranakhon definitely makes it different (read better)!

This place serves some of the best Thai food I’ve had in a while! The flavors are on point, and the dishes are so tasty that you’ll want to keep coming back. The service is top-notch too. The staff are super friendly and attentive, making sure you're well taken care of throughout your meal.
The food portions were really filling, and the waitress gave some great recommendations, which I appreciated. It’s always nice when someone can guide you to the best items on the menu. Plus, the drinks were just as good as the food! I had a few cocktails, and they were delicious, complementing the meal perfectly.
For all of that, the price was pretty reasonable too. I’d definitely recommend this spot if you’re in the mood for authentic, flavorful Thai food and great service.
Amazing Thai food, highly recommend if you're nearby.

This used to be my go-to spot for Thai food, but last night's experience completely ruined it for me. I’ll never come back.
The host, Yooshi, was incredibly rude. I understand that not all of our party had arrived, but he told us that he was "giving" us an extra 5 minutes to hold the table, claiming their policy is typically 10 minutes. However, Resy clearly states a 15-minute grace period.
When our entire party finally arrived— within that grace period—Yooshi gestured for us to wait. If reservations aren’t honored, then what's the point of making one?
On a positive note, our server, Jess, was fantastic. It’s a shame the host’s attitude overshadowed what could have been a good dining experience. Management should seriously consider training the host on how to treat customers.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but after my experience at this restaurant, I felt compelled to do so. This was my second visit, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing one.
When I dined here yesterday, the host, Yooshi, was incredibly rude to customers. We politely asked if they could hold our table for a few minutes since our friend was nearby, but instead of accommodating us, they immediately pointed to the "reservation policy" sign. The sign was taped at an awkward, nearly hidden spot below eye level—making it almost impossible to notice. Rather than handling the situation with a bit of understanding, the host made an unnecessary fuss over it.
Even after our entire party arrived, we still had to wait for a table despite having a reservation. What made it even more frustrating was that several empty tables were available, yet the host continued to be difficult. While our server was great and provided excellent service, the host’s attitude completely soured the experience.
To top it off, the food was overly salty and simply not worth the hassle. I would not recommend this place, nor will I ever return.
Te was great!
Great food, great vibes, and great service from BB. The fish dish was the standout
Food was a little disappointing.
Terrible service. Would not recommend.
What a spot! As a Thai person, this place deserves all the hype and more. Pranakhon perfectly combines homestyle cooking with elevated ingredients and flavors. The decor is so tastefully done - it has so many small touches that only Thai people would be able to pick up on and appreciate. The service was attentive and friendly. Will 10000% be back
I DO NOT understand the hype. And definitely think this does not deserve to be Michelin recommended.
I came for my birthday dinner and was very disappointed. We waited way past our reservation time. And we were out of the restaurant in 30 minutes (this was from the minute we sat down at our table to when we left).
We were served no more than 5 minutes after we placed our order meaning everything was premade ahead of time. I ordered a sticky rice and I had to send it back because the rice was hard and dry (it was definitely either sitting out for a long time or they tossed it in the microwave to warm up before they serve it).
Our whole party ended in the bathroom for two days because of the food. We WILL NOT be back. If you’re looking for Thai food around the same price point you’re better off heading to Fish Cheeks.
One of the best meals in recent times! Spacious seating and delicious food. The Pad Thai and Crispy Sliced Duck were exceptional.
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Thank you for the memorable dinner Pranakhon!
BB P was a spectacular server. Good was delicious.
These people have built something beautiful. Went here on my last night in the city for awhile, hoped to find something special and I was absolutely blown away. The service was attentive and personable, we sat at the bar after a quick wait and had fun watching the bartenders work with expert precision, whipping up cocktails and taking orders down and doing a million impossible things and doing it all with a smile, and like to took no effort at all. The space itself is stunning, very vibrant and warm and the FOOD. My dad said it was the best pad thai he'd ever had in his life, and this is not a man who is easily pleased, let alone impressed. I absolutely agreed with him, everything we had was of the highest caliber excellence. I have a feeling there isn't a weak spot on their menu. We got the Pranakhon pad thai and the Namya Pu, and the coconut sundae for dessert. Truly special, one of the best meals I've had in the city. It was a night to remember, a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to come back and do it all over again.

I will recommend mostly the fish 🐟 which they will give with the chili lime sauce, and having heat under the fish it's simply awesome. If u r a seafood lover. And the Gai Manow, which is made with chicken..it is crispy chicken they gonna give with some side sauce and on the bed of crunchy seaweed. When u dip the chicken into sauce and add that seaweed, it's simply yummy 😋. And last but not least, we had I-Tim Sundae it's so delicious and perfect for dessert. it's a combination of coconut ice ice cream with jasmin sticky rice and some seasonal fruits. 😋
Tom is the best server
Tom was amazing!!! Answered so many questions, was so patient, and sooo nice. The food was amazing! Shared with five people, and we were stuffed by the end. We thought of not getting the pad thai because it’s common, but it was so good! Fried rice too! Had a reservation and was in within a few minutes! Tons of people and was packed, but we could have conversation freely and it was such a wonderful time!:)
Sooo yummy! Tom was so helpful and great! Definitely recommend coming and trying all this delicious and authentic Thai food!
Went here like few times everything was okay until today.Bad service the waiter was so rude.Just because we(my mom and me) only ordered 2 appetizers and 2 deserts and a drink that is why we received attitude from the waiter=)).After finish deserts not even 5 minutes they gave us the receipt(even we didnt ask for it)right away made me low key felt like they trying to kick us out.
The food here was a 3/5, liked the vibe and service.
Both entrees were alright at best. (跟三宝饭没区别)We enjoyed the curry pancake. The pink milk tea was overly sweet.
The Mama More Fire noodle soup had an interesting enjoyable flavor, and felt like the only entree that was actually thai food. Entree portions were not generous.. feels like 6 bites of meat for $21.
Not sure how to feel since it’s a michelin restaurant. Spent overall a little over 50 per person for two people. Can say other thai restaurants are better.
I went with friends to enjoy some Thai cuisine, and wow, the prices in New York really make you stop and think! 💸 We ordered two cocktails, an appetizer, a main dish, and a hot pot, and the bill came close to $80 —felt like my wallet got emptied in one go.
This restaurant has been Michelin-recommended for two consecutive years, and the flavors definitely live up to the hype! ✨
🍹 Cocktails: They were super Thai-flavored—sweet, sour, and refreshing, with an authentic taste. Definitely worth trying!
🥚 Appetizer - HOR MOK HOY MANG PHU: This was AMAZING! Steamed eggs with clams and coconut milk—smooth, rich, and incredibly flavorful. I couldn’t stop eating it, highly recommend!
🍛 Main Dish - Curry: I found it a bit average, with a one-dimensional flavor. After a while, it got a bit heavy, so sharing among a group would probably be better.
🍲 Hotpot - Seafood Hotpot: The first bite immediately reminded me of MAMA instant noodles’ Creamy Tom Yum flavor. If you’ve had it, you’ll know exactly what I mean—the taste was almost 89% similar! But the price difference is huge, and honestly, I’d rather just make MAMA noodles with seafood at home for a fraction of the cost. 😂
Overall, this restaurant is more about the experience and trying unique dishes. But for things like the hotpot, it might not be worth ordering again.
Great spot for dinner. Especially with a group! The food is outstanding, the service fast and attentive, and the prices are super fair. The portions are large and they have something for everybody! We had the curry, pad se ew, and the lamb. Definitely recommend stopping by if you like Thai food
Pranakhon is always bustling on a Saturday evening. I recommend planning ahead with a reservation. However, as a party of 2, we have consistently managed to get seated at the bar or table without. Last weekend we arrived to a full house at 6:15 and were seated at 6:30. The hostesses and service staff are friendly and efficient.
You can’t go wrong with khao moo dang: a savory variety of pork with a sweet sauce over rice. The kea mao is delicious, chewy, and spicier than I anticipated! The entrees are quite large, so better to share.
The Thai iced tea slushy caught my eye this visit. I will definitely try it once the warmer months come around.
Probably one of the best Thai restaurants in those blocks! You know there’s a lot of Thai restaurants and I have been revisiting Pranakhon multiple times in 2024.
Beautiful space and nice motorcycle taxi service Jkjk staffs are wearing Thai motorcycle uniforms.
Crispy pork appetizer was so good and their pork hotpot was hot it right!
Please if you are in nyc and looking for authentic Thai cuisine Pranakhon has it for you.
Be prepared they get so busy for dinner
The very high rating for this restaurant seems unjustified. The food was nothing special (Krapow Pla was dry and tough), and the noise level was so high we couldn't have a conversation during dinner (avoid the mezzanine). However, the quality of the service was excellent.
The food is awesome. Creative and delicious dishes. The best Thai food in NYC.
This was probably the best Thai food we’ve ever had. Everything was absolutely to die for. The cocktails were fantastic and the food was just so flavourful. The portions were very generous also. This was the best restaurant we ate at on our NYC trip
Wonderful and delicious dinner experience! Try the Run Ga if you’d like a drink. Green curry was really good.
Decent to very good Thai albeit a bit pricey.
Delicious food in a great spot! Highly recommend.
My experience at this place was a bit mixed. The staff were attentive but not very approachable, the service was not good. The servers were not very helpful in suggesting vegetarian options or accommodating modifications to meat dishes. The food, however, was good with great presentations. The cocktails were excellent, but the wine selection was limited. We tried the Bus Saba cocktail, which was visually appealing with a flower garnish. The mussels were a bit chewy for my liking, but the Yuea Phai soup was tasty and satisfying. It was served hot with rice and could serve as a main dish if you're not sharing. As for the entrees, we had the ped ruan and tofu jian, with the ped ruan standing out as different and tasty. The tofu jian was decent and reminiscent of mapo tofu. All entrees were served with a jasmine rice bowl.
Overall, the food was good overall, but I wish the service could have been more accommodating and friendly rather than just attentive.
Gappy was such an amazing server!! Our party had dietary restrictions and he was incredibly accommodating. He even brought us special sauces and extra mugs/dishes so everyone could sample everything. We had a wonderful, delicious and leisurely meal. Highly recommend!
This restaurant is in my neighborhood and I have eaten here several times, the food is usually very good, but this last time was. It a good experience.
We arrived 30 minutes early for our reservation and were told we would be seated around our reservation time. We could not have a drink at the bar because apparently bar seats are reserved for diners, so we told them we were going to the restaurant next door for a drink.
We never received a text for our being ready as we were told.
There are plenty of other good restaurants on University, this is no longer in my rotation.
Great taste, must try.
The restaurant was chilly and my friend and I theorized they were trying to save on the heating bill.
Aside from that, the food was okay and the selections were decent. For some reason though the noodle dishes costed more than the rice? I mean whatever it's not a big deal. I just haven't seen other Thai spots so that as cost wise to prepare, it's all the same. Even down by Wall St has cheaper portions in actual Thai restaurants, lol.
Portions were kind of small but then again, we are in NYC. You can definitely find more generous deals further downtown from just as authentic Thai shops without all the decorative frills and thrills.
Best thai resto in the city
Insanely good. Highly recommend
I do NOT recommend. I went here for dinner last night and I immediately got food poisoning. The food was just ok, and the service was very poor. My friend and I did not appreciate being rushed from our table. When the bill came, the server hovered over me to see how much I was going to tip. After looking at other reviews on their page today, I saw at least 3 other people complain about getting food poisoning. I will not be dining at this establishment anymore.
Amazing food! Their menu is expansive and varied. And this spot has such a cozy atmosphere, will you get to sit upstairs or downstairs? It’s like a fun adventure whenever you go.
To be fair, food is fine. The physical environment is nice. But the service was poor, the waiter and waitress were rude to us. Then we got charged 20% tips without being asked.
One of the best Thai food meals I have ever had. My only issue was that they don't let your entire party sit you aren't all there... a bit frustrating especially if people in your group are extremely late. But really really good Thai food, would definitely go again.
Walking in we met with the south East Asian typical Thai friendliness and hospitality. The hosts took care of us right from the start with no reservation and the waiter was totally sweet. Food came out fast and fresh. So deserving of the Michelin ratings and made us feel like there's hope in having 'real' Thai food in NYC. We felt like we were around the town streets of Phuket!
Let me start by saying the decor and theme of this place is lovely. They do a great job in making you feel like you're sitting in the midst of a street cafe (from the actual decor to the waitstaff all wearing reflector vests as if they work for the town). Speaking of waitstaff, there are truly so many of them waiting for you to need them that it was an overall lovely dining experience.
The menu has a lot of great options and we had some trouble deciding. I was really excited to try the crispy enoki mushrooms (Yum Hed) that is a seasonal special, but we were told we couldn't order these as they "were not ready"- whatever that means. We ended up getting the gai manow to start. This was a delicious dish of lightly fried chicken over fried Chinese broccoli. My only wish was that the dipping sauce was a bit thicker, as it did spill a lot between dipping and bringing over to the plate for consumption.
For mains, we got Mama More Fire and Pad Pong Karee. The former was a nod to MAMA noodles, it seems, which was interesting (not my favorite noodle choice) and in line with their commitment to street food. There was a ton of seafood and the pork patty was really nice, but I just don't know that I'll ever be a fan of Tomyum flavoring. And there were two stars next to it for spicy level- neither of which should be there as it was really not spicy. The pad pong karee was a good choice. I'm always hesitant to order milk-based dishes but I know it's a staple of this cuisine. I found this one to be a bit more worthwhile and flavorful. Gritty in texture but not so much as other similar dishes are. A solid amount of very plump and delicious shrimp. But also not very spicy (admittedly this one only has one spicy star next to it).
We arrived on a Wednesday evening and had about a 15-20 minute wait for a party of two. The hosts were very communicative and helpful.
We ordered shrimp pad thai, vegetable fried rice, and vegetable massaman curry. The pad thai was a bit sweet and the shrimp came with tails on. The fried rice was delicious and the massaman curry was heavenly.
Service was great. Our cups were never empty. I highly recommend.
There's a ton of good thai in nyc - this one is above and beyond no doubt the best here
YUMM!! Highly recommend the MaMa More Fire soup - it had the perfect blend of savory and sour, and there are noodles in the soup, which made it a perfect dish to share. You can adjust the spice level despite what's noted on the menu as well. The Curry Pancakes were also a delicious app to start with - it paired very nicely with their sweet and sour sauce.
We got a small Crab Fried Rice, which was enough to share between 2+ people, since we got other dishes. It was a good, standard dish - what you'd expect. I'd SKIP the Bamee Ped - the dish wasn't anything special and the sauce on the duck was too sweet, in my opinion.
DELICIOUS mocktails - I had the Pink Mocktail (Choo Jai) and that topped my meal off perfectly! I was skeptical of the Durian with Sticky Rice dessert that my friend got because I'm not a fan of durian, but its taste was surprisingly not overpowering. However, saltier than I expected, in my opinion lol It was fun to try though.
Delicious food with fantastic service, and the waiters give great recommendations based on the group's spice tolerance. Overall, would come back to try their other soups and dishes in a heartbeat!!
Pranakhon boasts a storied restaurant serving authentic Thai dishes. Weekend dinner was so busy that making reservations was ideal to avoid disappointment. We came on time and we didn’t have to wait to be seated; we were led to the restaurant’s mezzanine by the balcony overlooking the entire dining hall.
We decided to order a few dishes to share: Nomtok more fire; a pork stew with pork balls, pork with angel hair noodles, crab meat fried rice, and crispy half duck. All the dishes came at the same time. Our table turned festive instantly, and we enjoyed every single dish on the table.
We found the dishes very flavorful and authentic; the service was efficient. This restaurant deserves to be the new addition to the Michelin Guide NYC.
I enjoyed my experience here overall. I had the massaman curry. It would have been better if it wasn't soooo sweet. I've had curry many times in other restaurants, and it's not like this one.
The Thai food Renaissance continues in NY with another phenomenal Thai restaurant that focuses on the more traditional and less represented aspects of Thai cuisine. Beautiful dining room & creative cocktails.
Our visit was lovely. Staff were so friendly and patient. The restaurant has the Thai-street vibe with local music.
The food was rich, creamy, and heavy in general. If you prefer light flavors, ask for recommendations or adjustments.
Ribs were delicious. The meat fell off the bone, tender and soft. The flavor of this dish was kinda sweet more than salty since they used lotus seeds in it!
Crab curry with noodles was refreshing. Not too heavy with vegs. We loved that rice noodles so much.
The papaya salad was spicy. Ask for adjustments if needed. It was slightly too strong for me.
🥥🌽💛Coconut water pudding: my personal favorite! It served warm, so creamy with a nice sweetness.
Loved this place definitely going back. The food was so good. I don't think I've had better Thai in NYC. And the service was wonderful. Sweetest server. The rest of the staff were very welcoming and helpful, too. My aunt needed to plug in her portable oxygen machine, and they sat us in a booth with an easily accessible outlet right away.
The atmosphere was nice, but it was pretty loud because it's a large space.
Really good and authentic thai food with a menu with good variety and stuff you cant get at other thai places. Great service and unique atmosphere. My only complaint is it can get loud inside and can get crowded/long line to get in so make a reservation.
Horrible place! My wife and I had food poisoning after eating here. Please avoid!
We live down the block and it took a while before we made it to this buzzy eatery. We have had take out many times and dined in once when family was in town over the summer. First the dine in experience - the drinks are fabulous, well presented and well made. The service has that stellar Thai friendliness. The only slight turn offs - you can't get a drink at the bar when you have to wait for your complete party and you are timed from the moment you sit down, so you can be kicked out when your time is up. They are quite clear about that. But this is the only way to make a NYC restaurant profitable. At first we were so delighted with the quality of the food, even take out, it really stood out against other Thai restaurants in the neighborhood as significantly better. However, last week we ordered a Pad Se-ew with shrimp for take out and it was remarkably mediocre. Nothing special compared to other Thai restaurants taste-wise. Maybe the kitchen had an off night, or the shine is starting to wear off? Time will tell and I will revise this if experience changes. Possibly still a decent dine in experience with great atmosphere, although timed eating is not my thing, but the food is moving toward middle of the road.
Literally no notes, everything was good.
I generally enjoy food, and recently I ordered kar moo (pork leg stew) and hor mok. The rice was cold, but I figured that might be the intended serving style, so I just went with it. I was having a good time, especially because the waiter at the bar counter was really nice.
However, when I opened my leftovers this morning, I was a bit disappointed. It seems like they could have used a bigger container instead of just pushing all the food down and mixing everything together. While the price of the meal doesn't usually bother me, this one was a bit disappointing. They also forgot to include the sauce.
Running a restaurant is tough, and maintaining both service and food quality is difficult since it takes every staff effort. I hope they will find ways to improve in the future. I want to enjoy my food that I paid for it and want to be recurrent customers.
The food and atmosphere are worth waiting in line. Highly recommend reservations.
Before returning to Manhattan, I always take time to research restaurants that have been attracting diners due to the quality of their food. For this visit, I included this magnificent place in our itinerary. This is the kind of restaurant where you’ll find quality in every single detail, including the service. My green curry was one of the best I’ve ever had, even compared to those I’ve eaten in Bangkok.
Just like the other recent reviews say. My party was made to wait 30 min after having a reservation and calling to confirm 20 min in advance.
Wasn’t like this before, poor organization of capacity and people
Best Thai food in NYC in my opinion. The soft shell crab karee was my personal favorite. The crab fried rice was outstanding as well.
To me this is probably one of the best Thai restaurants in the East coast. The food is divine. The drinks taste great. We had Somtum, Fried Taro and Kha Num Puk Kad as appetisers. They were absolutely amazing. My wife has a Thai iced tea and I had two Bus Saba, which had some kind of botanical liqueur. I didnt care for the liqueur. The drink was refreshing and had a unique taste. In the main course we had Mussaman with beef and Kanoom Jean Gang Keaw Wan. Both tasted like heaven. The ambience is nothing great. But the food is so good that the ambience absolutely doesnt matter. Everyone who loves food should try this one out.
One of my favorite Thai places! I would go here more often if it wasn’t so busy. I went with a group of my girlfriends and we had a great time here. They have a great menu selection and we got to try a couple Thai dishes we haven’t had before (and we eat a lot of Thai!) Also don’t sleep on the cocktails. And I very much enjoyed their famous frozen Thai tea!! We did have a strict time limit so not ideal when you’re in a larger group but mostly fine if it’s just a couple people. Looking forward to going back.
One of those downtown places that look tiny from the outside but opens up into great caverns of re-utilized industrial space, with huge planters of palm trees and pillars wrapped with streams of lights. Which is what you’d see in a fancy place in a Bangkok mall. Perfect, gracious, even sweet service, which is also very Thai. The menu is a mix of more adventurous southern things as well as classic pad Thai type stuff — I’m sure the funkier curries don’t pay the bills. My friends this night all don’t take much spice, so I selected the garden rolls, Pranakhon salad, pad see with chicken, and Mussulman short rib. My one challenge to the table was the “Mama more fire” Tom yum, requested at medium spice level. The non spicy friends approved! Short rib with mussulman curry sauce is a revelation—better than authentic.
Amazing food and vibe. Massaman shortrib is a must try including the curry pancakes
The fried taro is amazing for lunch or dinner.
Great place! I love the menu options and friendly staff
Consistently delicious
Wunderbar
Amazing. Best Thai I’ve had. Pad Thai was the best I’ve had. The branzino and curry were also fab
Given the reviews and accolades, I thought I was fortunate to get a reservation on short notice for a Saturday afternoon; but there were plenty of empty tables for the time that we were in the restaurant. The service was friendly, and the food was good.
The start of the meal was promising, with curry pancakes and nametok kor moo yang. There was a generous about of meat in the salad dish.
Entrees were disappointing at best. The crab fried rice was decent, and the serving generous; but there are definitely places that make this dish better in the city. The khao na ped was the most disappointing dish. We love duck; but it was so drenched in this "gravy" that was too sweet and too floral, and the broccoli was very bitter. If i didn't pay for this dish, I wouldn't have bothered with it after just a couple bites.
Thai tea is great. Food is ok; crab fried rice was great but the Branzino didn’t taste very fresh… maybe bad luck
One staff was extremely rude. When we asked it there was a table that we could move to, he said if you want a table wait outside, one hour in a get out tone.
Very uncomfortable dialogue. Besides that the food and the other bartenders were very nice.
Busy restaurant. Came here Friday 9pm with reservation, still need to wait to be seated despite many empty tables inside. Vibe and presentation was nice. Seasoning was okay, however texture of protein was really bad. All the dishes we ordered were tough to chew and dry… wings, steamed fish, shrimp in mama more fire pot…. The roti with chicken was soggy… Won’t recommend if you came here for good food….
I had my birthday dinner here. Every dish was beyond expectation! The flavors are rich with sophisticated layers. You'll find surprising ingredients like lotus seeds in the short ribs dish. Do make a reservation beforehand!
Recommending:
Short ribs, Mama more fire, curry pancake
Very good food and excellent service !!!!!
Very good Thai food just like in Thailand!!!
Atmosphere is great! Feels like Thai culture to me. It is fun and full of love. Also, the food is very nice. More Thai style than many American style or Chinese style Thai restaurants. Gotta go.
I DON’T REALLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. IM DAUGHTER WAS SO Hungry and WANT TO EAT PIZZA and we are ready to order our foods and they told us no outside food. They dont have a signed for NO OUTSIDE FOOD. THIS RESTAURANT IS DISCRIMINATION!!! 😡😡😡 I HOPE THIS RATE HAVE ZERO 0️⃣
I catered from here and just love the food. It tastes authentic, flavorful and fragrant. It can be spicy so make sure you let them know your spice tolerance.
Bb give us a great service and the food is amazing and will come next time
