Lovely little place with probably the best lunch value in the city for just $10 bucks you get an app and main. Food was great, well portioned and flavorful. Green curry had some kick to it and the Pad Thai had a fair amount of tofu. Place is tiny so only a few tables but attentive service nonetheless. Worth a visit if you’re in the neighborhood.
Friendly staff!
Ordered Vegan Pad Thai with Tofu and Thai Iced Tea for a takeout order. Generous portions but food taste was not up to the mark. Bland food!
They did customize the noodles to make it vegan friendly!
I have been going here for years and gave these people a lot of my money! The portions of food they give you because “ they can’t afford “ is ridiculous! Especially with the mango sticky rice they will literally give you one tiny spoon of rice and not even half a mango ! & it’s expensive to be receiving such small portions! The chef literally told me she reduced the amount she gives because she can’t afford to give a whole mango and she has to pay for the plastic container She puts it in. That is not my problem. I will never be returning here it just always feels like they stealing my money! & they have roaches ! BYE ! They lost a good customer ✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾
Joined a friend here for the lunch special and was glad I did! It's a small place with less than 20 seats, but it's cheery. The food was tasty and the service was attentive. I believe that they may not have a restroom - I didn't see where there was one. Definitely recommend this little Thai...
The food is amazing. This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered from this location. The food so far is always on time and still hot; didn’t even have to wait long either. The selection of dishes is good and their prices are great for the area they are in. This dish is Thai fried rice! I highly recommend it. Ohh and it wasn’t spicy either, so if you want spicy just ask them.
Nice and cozy place. The food was very good. The Tom Kha soup was delicious.

I come here every week and I love it. Great prices and great lunch special deal. Recommend
Hidden gem Thai restaurant!

I don’t even write restaurant reviews but I had to for this one! The way they stuff my bowl with so much vegs & no noodles no shrimp. Just so much peppers & onions. I will not be returning.
It's a little whole in the wall on Amsterdam ave between 102nd and 103rd street, but the food is outstanding. I would say as good a Thai Market or better with more affordable prices!
Delicious
I’ve always wanted to go inside but yesterday I decided to order for delivery. May I just mentioned how FRESH this food was. I ordered the Pangnag dish, you can choose your proteins with all dishes so I chose shrimp. I usually don’t trust places with shrimp but they’re decent sized, juicy, fresh and simply delicious.
The sauce wasn’t too spicy for those who aren’t into very spicy food (I am) they label items that are very spicy. The food has so much flavor, you could taste the savoriness, a hint of coconut and all of the herbs and spices. I paired it with the sticky rice, and spring rolls. The pangnag sauce was so good I used it for my spring rolls.
I can’t wait to go in person and tell them how wonderful their food is and also just to actually sit inside for once I love their food and their place looks so cozy and cute.
I 20/10 would recommend this place (not being dramatic), they have vegetarian and vegan options for those who don’t choose to eat meat, and they also have pescatarian options as well.

Super cute place with delicious food! I got the red chicken curry with brown rice. Feels super fresh!
Didnt expect much but was surprised at how good their food was.
Such a nice decor in the restaurant! Really cute and homey. We ordered pick up but I’d love to come back and sit down. The drunken noodles were especially delicious
I got the pad Thai and it was mediocre. It was decent for the price though. The peanut sauce was good and so were the rangoons. I got it delivered so I can’t say much about the service and atmosphere besides I received the food quickly.
I’ve eaten at quite a few Thai establishments across the state and country, and this places Thai curry puffs literally changed my life. Best I’ve ever had, will definitely be a repeat FOR SURE
Tasty hidden gem with reasonable prices. Great for takeout too!
Server was super nice and brought out a straw cup of water for our toddler. Food came fast and was delicious. The lunch menu is a great deal for an app and main. Would love to come back.
My favorite go to for thai food
Mid
Delish and well priced
gave us a delicious free tea with our wonderful meal
Food was amazing it's a must see I highly recommend this spot and check out the lunch special and try the wonton soup and Thai tea with boba 🧋
Even if it's a small place, I feel it's one of those that deserves more visibility. I had really nice food for little money, and the service was very good. Would repeat!
I ordered the curry soup and this time it was not edible it was so spicy my throat felt on fire. I have ordered this before and it was never bad. If you don’t like your food, this is the wrong place to order from because they don’t care.
We were a group of 10, the owner was extremely accommodating inspite of the small space and pulled all the tables together. Delicious food and excellent service!
Cute spot for dining in. Nice people, delicious food. (I had the veg pad Thai). Prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend this place!
Absolutely awful food and extremely unpleasant service. A one and done, that’s for sure.
Great spot, one of my go-to’s in the neighborhood
Great dine-in experience. Small but cheery interior, and excellent service. Had the spring rolls and pad see ew. Both were great, with generous portions. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for quick casual Thai food, takeout or dine in.
Got food poisoned after eating here last Thursday. I’ve been sick and hospitalized. You really never know how food is being handled. Be careful with these restaurants.
Beware: this restaurant serves rotten food. The Pad See Ew with beef had a foul smell and was inedible. On top of it, the restaurant refused to give a refund.
This place is my go to take out when I crave Thai. All of their curry is delish and the shrimp and crab rolls are a must. Food always shows up fresh and hot.
I really like this place. The only knock is the curry -- I love massaman curry, but not from this restaurant. I ordered massaman (which was their only curry not listed as "hot and spicy"), ordered spiciness 1 out of 5 and it was inedibly hot; that's coming from someone who likes curries in general! I called and they said it wasn't a mistake, that's just the way it comes. Considering they have a big disclaimer on their website that they won't provide a refund if the food is too spicy, I'm guessing this is a problem they have regularly, hopefully they do something about it... Additionally, it just did not have the creaminess or great flavor I'm used to from this dish from other restaurants, overall disappointing.
That said, everything else I've had from here has been great. Pad thai, pad see ew, curry puffs, and chive/taro dumplings were all A+ dishes.
We were really craving Thai after a month out of the city. Wow, was this food delicious. Everything was carefully prepared and packaged as well as tasty- we will definitely be ordering again!
Pad Thai and pad see ew are great
This is the best Thai restaurant in the UWS, judging by their curry. I have tried them all and this one is the best
First time ordering delivery from Raenu. Everything was packaged well. The tofu curry puffs were delicious and the thai iced tea was as expected. I liked how the pad see ew had an option to add an egg for no extra cost, but it was a lot spicier than expected for 0.5 “spoons” of spice (the maximum amount was 5 spoons and I have good spice tolerance). Furthermore, the spicy sauce was not distributed evenly, and I found some noodle pieces drenched in red.
Had a problem with the food, they got angry I complained and started canceling my new orders!
Come here for the lunch specials! The food is super good and cheap. Better than other Thai places in the area.
Watch out for old, stale food. Food delivered luke warm, not freshly made.
Been ordering from here for the last few weeks and it’s amazing. The Pad See Ew is unbelievably good and all of the appetizers I’ve tried here are interesting and tasty. I totally recommend this place!
Burnt fried rice forgot to add raisins. Soup was interesting but okay. Not worth $13 bucks for lunch. Have eaten at much tastier thai spots for less. Must be the shabby neighborhood
I've eaten at my share of Thai restaurants in my life, and this is my favorite.
Absolutely delicious!! Got a bunch of tasty appetizers, everything came hot and fresh (especially Bc they vented the containers so nothing was soggy- genius!). Delivery was super quick. Highly recommend, can’t wait to order again in the future
I started ordering from Raenu once the pandemic started, and my entire experience with the restaurant has been through delivery.
That said, we have eaten at Raenu at least a dozen times, and have never had a bad meal there. The meals have been affordable, delicious, and have kept us going back for more. Cheap and cheerful!
Some suggestions:
- Fried calamari. I don't expect much from any place that has fried calamari, especially when it's delivered, but Raenu's managed to be fried just right and still crispy when it arrived.
- Panko fried shrimp. Like the fried calamari, this was fried to perfection and was still crispy when it arrived. Can't go wrong.
- Thai lemon chicken. They fried it perfectly, can you spot the trend yet? Huge, for an appetizer, and still juicy on the inside. Really solid order when you want a bunch of fried chicken with your meal.
- Crab fried rice. Yes, always yes. You get a heaping portion of fried rice, and some REAL crab meat spread out on top. We have taken to ordering an extra crab fried rice so we can have it for meals on other days.
- Pad see ew. So tasty, so greasy, so good. The noodles are always done just right, and the flavours are on point.
Frankly, you can't go wrong with any of the rice dishes. Hell, I order one and split it into two meals, and I have a voracious appetite.
100% recommended.
Good thai food take out place
Best Thai restaurant for delivery that I’ve ordered from. Consistently quality food. Very tasty curries, soups, appetizers and noodles. They do standard Thai cuisine very well and I’ve never had a negative ordering experience.
Very tasty food, I strongly recommend the Duck Kra Prow dish! I made a habit of picking up food from there and eating it in the Central Park :) Congrats to the chef and to the entire staff!
Everything I've had delivered from here has been delicious! The chive and taro dumplings are amazing, and they have excellent pad see ew, fried rice, and more. I've been ordering from here regularly. Highly recommend.
Delicious and reasonably priced with fair portions.
Best thai food on the upper west side. Cute little spot. My fav is the drunken noodles.
Good food and very affordable prices, especially for the lunch special.
We order here often. The food is consistent and very good. Much better than one might assume by the size of the place and their emphasis on takeout and delivery.
The food is delicious! The best food I've had in Manhattan so far... They have never disappointed me the food is addictive trust me! So yummy!
Cooked by Thais (not Chinese) so it’s more authentic, as described by my Asian wife.

Good food. Friendly staff and easy to grab a quick take out. Had pad Thai and drunken noodle. Both good. Not my favourite spot but definitely worth a visit.
Place is fantastic, service is wonderful , food is delicious don’t have not one complaint, if you every walking by or driving by make sure to stop and fill your stomach with this amazing food.
This is the first place I ever tried pad thai and they set a high standard. All other places since then do not compare. Curry dishes are delicious as well. Staff is friendly and portions are good.
Fantastic tom kha, tofu salad, mango sticky rice, and fish cakes!
I dont eat thai food, if i was there i might had been very high and for sure not to eat food, but dont take my word for it go and enjoy the food.
Good service and great food
Best Thai food in the area. Clean and utmost place, friendly staff, delicious food. Everything you need to spend your time and to enjoy your food.
This my go to. They take extra care on take out items and their crab Rangoons are the best in the area
New owner is exceptionally rude to customers. Food is disgusting. I recommend ANY other restaurant.
.
Delicious food excellent service.
Very good authentic Thai food in the Upper West Side
On Sunday I had delicious pineapple fried rice and perfectly cooked spring rolls. Today I ordered pad thai with shrimp and spring rolls. There were four tasteless (maybe less than fresh) shrimp in the pad thai and the spring rolls were so overcooked that I suspect that they were reheated from the night before.I must admit that the noodle part of the pad thai was very good.

Have eaten here twice and love it so much. Best authentic Thai food I’ve had, and conveniently near by to my friend’s place. Love the pad see ew and milk bubble tea! Great place, Raenu!
Love this place. The food is so good.
My first time eating here...ordered delivery with a group of people from work. Although everyone else's dishes looked ok (everyone ordered pad thai, basically), I was very disappointed with my meal. $7 for 3 tiny pieces of their crabmeat and shrimp roll was kind of a rip off. And my tom yum soup was not very appetizing looking. Not your usual chili-infused reddish broth but a bland clear yellow soup stock with just a pile of chicken and onions. I've definitely eaten better Thai food.
Great food !!! If you haven't eaten here your missing out .
