Yum Yum Too continues to be one of the trendiest restaurants on 9th ave. Since 2014, Yum Yum Too has been mainly serving fusion cuisine enticing to both Eastern and Western developed palates. Our executive chef is a strong believer in using the finest and freshest ingredients found in both Thailand and the United States.
Haven't been here in years (since my undergrad days) and the food did not disappoint at all. We had quite a couple of dishes: Tom Ka Gha soup was great, thai dumplings were a bit too salty especially with the chili/garlic flake dipping sauce, pineapple fried rice was well balanced, chicken satay was tender along with the peanut sauce, drunken noodles were great! And so was the seafood ka-prow. Ambience was really nice as well :). Sorry I didn't get all the pics in there (some of the dishes were inhaled 😅😁)
In an area packed with many Thai restaurants, Yum Yum Too stands out with their extremely affordable pricing! The value you get here is hard to match for the cost, as I had a lunch while dining in for less than $20 (including tip). It’s definitely not going to be the best Thai food you’ve ever eaten but, for the price, you really shouldn’t complain
I really enjoyed my dining experience at Yum Yum Too! The staff is incredibly friendly, and I would gladly come back. It’s a nice place to unwind after a long day or to grab some delicious Thai food before seeing a show.
Craving Thai food? Check this place out!! Service was friendly and efficient. Beautiful light fixtures over the bar and ample seating. Got the Prix fix menu which included five courses for $28!! Tried the coconut soup, I would put this in a cup and drink it, the broth was so good!!! The spring roll was wonderful, but the dumpling was a little more my taste since it wasn't fried, but both were tasty (as were the sauces). The salad was good too. I ordered the Thai chicken ( ground chicken with mushroom and peppers and a fried egg with jasmine rice. My first time trying this dish, and it won't be my last. So much flavor!! Serving was HUGE!! Happy to take some home with me lol Finished with Coconut ice cream. One scoop was the perfect ending to this meal! The person next to me had a duck platter and said it was a favorite of his, and the person on my other side had a salmon dish that looked very tasty!! Can't wait to go back here on my next trip into the city!!
NEVER AGAIN! My girlfriend and I entered the restaurant an hour before closing. There were no other guests inside, so I asked if the kitchen was still open, and they said yes. However, it quickly became clear that the staff wanted to go home. They weren’t friendly at all, stared at us while we were eating, and kept checking the clock. This behavior made us feel unwelcome, and we couldn’t enjoy our meal peacefully.
We left as soon as we finished eating. No one made eye contact or even said goodbye. The food was okay—nothing special. The curry soup was lukewarm in some spots when it arrived.
Overall, this experience was disappointing and unprofessional. Definitely a no-go!

Curry is dry… so is the waitress
Food was amazing and definitely good value for the money.
the mock duck here is so gas 🔥🔥 loved the food
Always delicious Thai traditional food!!! I wish there will someday my favorite beer LEO 😋

Use to be a great place to eat the quality of the food have been terrible… Last time I order a chicken pad Thai with extra sauce and I have to throw it away because they didn’t put any sauce on the dish and was extra dry and disgusting like is they were mad of my order. I use to come very often because is close to my place but I don’t recommend take out from this place.
This was a bit of a tourist trap. The best part was the green tea ice cream. That was really good.

While in the Times Square area craving Thai food, we found this restaurant to be the closest option. Fortunately, it did not disappoint. My sister and I ordered the prix-fixe menu. The tom yum goong soup was exceptional, offering a delicate balance of sour and spicy flavors in the broth. For my main course, I had the seafood ka-prow, while my sister chose the fried rice. The seafood ka-prow was excellent. There are plenty of seafood such as shrimp, scallops, squid, and vegetables. To conclude our meal, we enjoyed the coconut ice cream dessert, which was a delightful way to cleanse our palates. My sister also ordered the Jungle Fever cocktail, which was refreshing and delicious, but be warned that it can be deceptively potent. LOL Overall, the service was excellent, and the manager was very friendly and approachable. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking out this restaurant. The food is awesome, and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely return the next time we're in NYC!

The staff are very nice and helpful
Love the 5 course fixed menu. Excellent Tom Yum soup and the green tea ice cream was a nice surprise to cap the meal. Perfect amount of food at a decent price.
Food was ok, but extremely poor customer service.
I stopped by to try the Pad Thai chicken, expecting it to be a safe choice since it's a traditional dish that's usually hard to get wrong. Unfortunately, the Pad Thai was tasteless, lacking flavor, and was both salty and sour. It was hard to describe, but it was nothing like the Pad Thai I usually enjoy.
Delicious pad Thai, highly recommended
First time here and the food and portions did not disappoint! Was a little disappointed in the condition of the bathroom… could use some serious cleaning/updating!
Delicious food
Great service
Cheap
The food here was unreal - lots of veggie options and the shrimp mango salad is a must! You won’t regret coming here.
Awful service, automatic gratuity. Food taste is pretty random, zero food presentation, plastic dinnerware, I'm sure there better options around.
Horrible service!!!! They don't give utensils! End up eating with my hands... just horrible... NEVER AGAIN!
nice lowkey place, aaamazing food with good spice, and yummy drinks and good prices too! super nice servers too, speedy service. thank you!
Great restaurant and great people. Food was spectacular. Loved it so much we stopped by two nights in a row. Convenient location to Times Square but quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful meal. Stop by and say hey to Woody. He wants all customers to have a wonderful experience. Will definitely be back next time we are in NYC.
I have been wanting to try the food at this restaurant for a while, and I'm glad I eventually gave them a chance. The staff were so eager and friendly, and you could tell they were happy to have customers as soon as you walk in. The presentation of the food might not be the fanciest compared to other more popular Thai restaurants in the area—it’s more like a home-cooking style—but the food tastes pretty decent. They also have very valuable Prix fixe menu. Overall, a great place for a cozy and satisfying meal!
Food was ok.. service was not good. The girl had attitude and she got the order wrong!
Good experience as usual
Great service, cheap lunch
Best lunch special in town, food is great and fast and the service is always top notch
Pire expérience à New-York !
Restaurant à éviter absolument, les serveurs nous ont retenu et obligé à changer le montant du pourboire.
A fuir !
美味しいトムヤムクンが食べられました。コスパも素晴らしい

Food is Thai authentic and prices is reasonable. Friendly staff to help order and always there to serve. Will definitely come back to order. They also have a lunch menu to choose.
Really good curry options for vegetarian and vegan people
I ordered mango sticky rice for take out and it was not sweet at all. It was literally just rice… and they stopped taking callings at 10:40 due to them closing soon. This order was literally just rice sticking together with no mango or any sort of sweetness… would not order here again
Grosero y nada amable. La comida normal bien.
Jamás me había ido sin dejar propina.
Nunca regresaré gracias a esta persona.
In NYC for a few months for work. Been to this Thai place at least a dozen times now. Would recommend if you’re near by.
I work down the street and treat myself to their lunch special at least once a week. It’s a great deal and the service is very fast and accommodating.
Horrible experience !!
Never come back . The worst Pad Thai I ever tried . And very expensive
The most mediocre food I've ever paid over $100/two for in my life. The only thing they did correct was the frosted glass for the "first" beer. The food was edible but that should never be the standard for a restaurant especially one on Restaurant Row in NYC the dining capital of the world. In an attempt to eat something beyond Bland. We took the advice of two women next to us and apparently they along with the chef have apparently no understanding of what Thai food tastes like even Bad Thai food.
Life is funny the place I wanted to eat was full so we figured Thai is always good. That was a truism until Yum Yum Too, I have eaten in gas stations in Mississippi with tastier food. The food was entirely without adequate flavor because it had gone too far away from Thailand in an effort to be palatable for the blandness of the American diet. If the service had been attentive I would not have written this review but there was only one server and one bartender. However, I still left $20 on an $115 bill because that's who I am and it's well below my tipping standards. I'm known to tip very big. Overall a very sad experience, I should have eaten in the dinner across the street his Rubens are legendary. 😡😡😡😡😡
Food is delicious, service is good and slightly cozy place to enjoy your meal and drink!
Rude staff/management. I used to like this place but one evening I arrived on the later side, though before the post-theater crowd came in. Host insisted my friend and I sit where they put us despite our courteously requesting to sit elsewhere and despite the place being empty. Treated us rudely after this. When post-theater crowd came in they treated them like a crowd in a mess tent—in and out in twenty minutes. Not going back. Decent but not great food they serve up is not worth this treatment.
/!\ Dishonest, don't go
Food was just about ok, both of my savoury dishes tasted sweet.
I asked for a lunch menu to see options and pricing. Waiter said he didn't have a printed version of it but ran me through the mains options.
After ordering my main, I checked Uber eats and realised that my lunch should contain a starter for the price they charged. But the waiter never offered any. I asked his colleague what my starter options were, and she replied he had already served me my starter (!)
I go back to him and ask him what my starters options are. He then pulls out a printed menu showing clearly that the lunch price should include a starter, and the starters' list !
He looked like he was just trying to get away with charging me the start but not giving it to me.
Good food and reasonable price.
It had been few years since I knew this place. Tonight was the End of it! I already told him my allergies. But the cook decided to mess it up for me!!! If you have food allergies! This will never be the place to in!! #not recommended it! Too uber intelligent..!!!
Unreal lunch special
Faster food than McDonald's 30 minutes for 3 courses food mediocre at best ,not a pleasant experience
Awful food, awful service. We ate there and I paid and said goodbye to my friend outside and went back in to use the bathroom and they forgot that I was there 20 seconds ago and didn’t want to let me use the bathroom. Greedy.
AMAZING food, and great service. This is authentic Thai food, and we loved everything we tried! :) definitely recommend, and will visit again.
Awesome crispy duck.
Barely edible. We tried the prix fix dinners. The spring roll and puff triangle were flavorless. The rice soup was weird chemical tasting (I didn’t eat it), and Tom Yum Gon shrimp was “fine”. The pad Thai was dripping in sticky sauce. The Duck Empire was pretty good. Service was rude and sloppy. Will never eat here again.
Loved this place. Hopped in to have some thai food and truly wasn´t dissapointed.
Chicken satay was good, crispy calmari as well but what is really good is sauce. In all dishes they truly make it outstanding.
Service was exactly nicely balanced- personal but not pushy. Recommended.
A quiet treat at the corner of Hell’s Kitchen. Welcoming ambiance and delightful Thai dishes for less than $15.
Good food, but for Thai food I am used to more spicy flavours. Perhaps for western standards they serve less spicy. It would be an option to provider fresh red chili
Amazing vegan options, love the mock duck
Fantastic food. Friendly and helpful staff.
Very good consistent Thai food with friendly service. It is close to many Broadway theaters and open late enough for a meal after a show. Unlike many restaurants in the area, it is not a tourist trap.
Food was pretty good, I would go back.
Whenever I'm in town this is my favorite place to eat on restaraunt row. It's on the corner so people watching is fun, the inside feels warm and inviting, and Singha and Lychee lemonade cocktails are the best.
Food is consistently good. Servers are gracious. When seated towards where staff slosh food waste into a bin, I'd say atmosphere needs some work. Also, know that asking to take your leftovers home means you're handed an empty container.
Great service, solid Thai favorites together with a relaxed atmosphere that make Yum Yum Too, the Thai spot to visit when you’re in the area. The prices are reasonable as well. Great find! 🥘😋
Fantastic food. Mashman Curry and Thai iced tea was amazing!
Great pad thai and curries!
Helpful staff, nice atmosphere and yummy food!
One of the best Thai restaurants in the area. We went for dinner. I really enjoyed the seafood drunken noodles.
I really love this location. They treat their customers really well. Every single customer matters no matter if you walk in with street clothes or if you walk in a suit and tie. I really love their food. It's always so fresh and clean and well prepared. They're drinks are so good, even the virgin ones. I really love this location. They have a prefix menu that is really good. The drunken noodles, pad Thai/see ew, everything is amazing.
Poor Service unfriendly. Won't go again.
Rude and miserable people not a place I would visit again
Great Thai place just off of times Square. We bumped into a local couple that suggested it. We had the pad Thai and it was good. The drinks were good and a family place.
I’ve been to Yum yum for years while you still had three different restaurants one block away from Each other.
I usually go there for the 12$ lunch special.
Food is good and the Coconut Ice tea delicious.
The staff is kind.
Great food and friendly service!
@Yum Yum Too for TR's Birthday lunch. Best Atlantic Salmon ever and the ice cream was pretty good too!
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Of you love Thai food and you come to NY Manhattan, I have the best restaurant recommendation for YOU: Yes, this is Yum Yum Too!
Super authentic and fresh food - you will Never forget it! Excellent taste and perferct grade of ‚spicyness‘.
We are in Manhattan since a week now and were at Yum Yum Too 3 times!
We had salmon, baked rice in variations, Chilis 🌶️ - awesome.
The staff is very, very helpful and friendly.
Enjoy your Dinner there. And by the way, I was Rolf by the guys on the neighbour table the cocktails Are also great!
What Are you waiting for?
Pictures will follow…
The service overall was good, however the server on the phone didn’t know what kind of food we were ordering, even though it says it on the menu in google maps. Either someone didn’t update the menu or the server didn’t know the menu very well. Their thai iced tea is good, i ordered the pad se ew and it was more mediocre. They also didn’t put in utensils or napkins into our bags. Overall the experience was okay, just remember to check ur bags before leaving.
We ate the lunch special. Absolutely great. Not easy to find a place where the food is good but not expensive.
Food was very sweet, and the coconut soup was not very nice at all. The noodles were overly spiced for a medium dish, which made it mostly inedible if you didn't like hot spiced food Nice atmosphere, served quickly
I saw that this place was packed and figured it had to be good. The food turned out to be mediocre. $27 for a 5 course meal should have been a red flag. It wasn't bad by any means. My belly was filled but my taste buds weren't rewarded. The meal included Tom Yum soup, egg rolls, salad, main dish ( massaman curry), and green tea ice cream. The Tom Yum soup was quite good. The salad and egg rolls were sub par, and the curry dish lacked flavor. I have no complaints about the service or the atmosphere.
We have gone here for years. Always good. They had these great soups that they no longer have. My favorite noodle with seafood. The waitress was horrible. We got our food and she never came back. It was not busy at all. Food was good but was very disappointed with service and no soup that I like.
Food was great. Good service. Short wait despite being packed. Nice, kind, attentive staff. Loved the pasta!!
I ordered through seamless a Beef Pad Thai, no peanuts because I am allergic. I not only received chicken pad thai, but it also had peanuts! I now have a rash on my arms and stomach (I'm starting to itch on my legs too.) I contacted seamless and while they offered a refund, I asked how can we make sure they don't do this to someone else and was told to write a review. So here it is... probably better to order at the restaurant to avoid this kind of health hazard. :/
Phenomenal experience. Top notch food, atmosphere, and wait staff. Have been here multiple times, and every time is an amazing experience all around.
You should skip several meals before visiting this amazing restaurant. Everything is so tasty, you cannot restraint yourself from having all of the dishes, Great variety and fine value tasting menu. Exciting food with high quality presentation, service Definitely a lifetime customer!
Cozy place with a nice 5 course meal option. The chicken rama and coconut ice cream are great.
The food was very yummy! We got takeout after seeing Moulin Rouge. All in all, a magical evening!
Trader Joe’s quality.
Grande scoperta nella 6th avenue ambiente un attimo caotico ma cibo ottimo!
Servizio eccellente e velocissimo
Nothing special and very expensive. The food very far from real Thai foods..
Solid food. Solid staff.
Köstliches Essen und freundliche Bedienung.
This place used to be delicious. Ordered today from Uber Eats and not only was the shrimp pad thai bland and flavorless, they didn’t add chicken to the order as requested, even though I authorized them to charge me more. Very disappointing and won’t be returning. The thai iced tea was also bland and watered down. Terrible and will not ever be returning.
אוכל טוב, מעט צפוף ורועש
Delicious and affordable
Mmmm so yum yum..
Authentic Thai restaurant. Taste very close to the home of a real Thailander.
Quick service. Ideal for a quick bite before your broadway show. Great flavors and reasonable serving sizes and prices.
Delicious Delicious! And service was excellent!
Excellent duck. We had the $34 fixed menu and there was plenty of food to go around. Icecream was phenomenal.
todo excelente: comida, atencion y precios
The food was just ok, medium thai food, nothing special. When we ordered the bill they took 18% for Tip without even asking and when i asked why take tip and so much and not let us leave it he said - This is a tourist area so we take. ALL OF NY IS A TOURIST AREA!
So i suggest for all the tourists not to come here, waste of money.
My absolute favorite Thai restaurant in the city! I love all their dishes with mock duck. Also they’re always super quick to get the food out, so it’s one of my favorite places to go before a Broadway show. Always a great time!
Generally good ambience, food quality and and service. Not expensive and quite popular with tourists and locals
Good Thai iced coffee. Okay Thai dumplings. Good jungle curry. Excellent service.
Had visited a few days ago and it was delicious. Service was great and food was delicious. We are just visiting here and after no luck of finding other places to eat we decided to visit again because it was so good the first time. When we arrived it was pretty busy yet as soon as we ordered the food arrived in less then ten minutes. Great pad thai and yellow curry! Definitely would visit again if we had the chance and totally recommend to anybody!
I had their drunken noodles dish and it was amazing! The noodles were cooked to perfection. There was a balance of seasonings, not too spicy or salty. The veggies had the perfect crunch! Will be going back to try more dishes.
Excellent food & service..
Delicious food at prices a little less than others in the area. My favorites are Salmon Basil, Coconut shrimp, and of course, Pad Thai. Super friendly staff with upbeat, modern playlist.
Lovely food, friendly staff and good prices
I've been coming to Yum Yum Too for years and can confidently say it is the best Thai food offering in NYC. You like Pad Thai? This is the spot. Curry? They've got it and it's delicious. Sauteed dishes, fried rice, appetizers, drinks... And reasonably priced?? Yes.
The vibe inside is well spaced, open, and warm. The wait staff is so friendly (they know me by name now) and service is QUICK. When they're not busy, in and out in 30 minutes. Truly, if your visiting NY and trying to get a meal in Hells Kitchen, come here.
The service is the pits! Wait staff acts as if they are constantly bothered when asked for table service and they constantly stare at you. For $124 for lunch the wait staff should be most attentive. Hells Kitchen has hundreds of food options. Step it up! The bathrooms also need to be upgraded, it is not the most clean or sanitary.
The food was excellent and so was the service, especially the female waitress, she was very sweet.
Fun place. Food is good!
Remarkably mediocre food. Meat quality lacking, particularly the beef.
They have a prix fixe for like $30. Great deal. Food was solid. I loved it
Great pad Thai!
My second time dining here. LOVE the food, great staff.
Love their Chicken Pad Thai and papaya salad. Service staff is quick and efficient.
Super ! Formule avec un prix très intéressant et cuisine Thaï de qualité. Merci !
Delicious! Loved the Pad Thai drunken noodles.
There's a "sauteed" part in the menu, the dish was steamed. They said they don't do sauteed when asked...
Good food and great service. Thank you !
Delicious food and friendly staff. Price fixed $27 for 5 courses - soup, salad, appetizer, entree and ice cream cannot be beat! Great selection of Thai classics in an intimate ornate ambiance
The food here is fresh and good portions. Good prices!
Sweet intimate environment!
Love it here! It's a regular spot for me! Great food and drinks!
Nice place. Reasonably priced. Enjoyed the corn fritters, calamari and duck pineapple fried rice.
I ordered Tom Yum noodle soup at Yum Yum Too today. It was recommended by the staff for today’s chef’s special. And I am so glad I had it, very yummy! It is not too spicy, but it’s perfect for the winter, warmed my body and my heart. Highly recommend it to everyone! The Thai iced tea is also my all time favorite.
