I had ordered delivery from here once before and it was fantastic, so we opted to dine in this time.
The space is beautiful! They created a zen, garden-like environment that is super inviting. Both the server and bartender were great - efficient and very nice!
Food-wise, we started with the Thai dumplings (6) which were delicious followed by the incredible Tom Yum soup! We both LOVED IT! For our mains, I ordered Pad Woon Sen with beef and he ordered Drunken Noodles with chicken as well as a side of fried rice, which we both devoured. The portions were plentiful, although there could have been a little more beef in my noodles.
All in all, Yummy Thai is a wonderful Thai option in the neighborhood. We will be back!

I love the pineapple fried rice (with tofu) and the vegetable drunken noodles (spicy). My favorite drink is the Blue Hawaiian. I keep telling myself to try a different drink but the blue one is too good, nobody makes it like they do here! The staff have never been rude to me throughout the many years I have come here. Whether I am with my mom, aunt and/or sister. My aunt took me to Yummy Thai for my birthday last year and the staff sang to me (i also got to wear a cute hat ) and I ate their fried chocolate ice cream for the first time which was good! I have tried their tofu by itself and I love it, even the meat eaters in my family love it. Honestly, anytime I order my favorite items from here they always taste good. There are awesome options for me here as a vegetarian.

My dishes were fantastic. The service was fantastic, and the decor is definitely chill. The loss of the star 🌟 is for the early closing and just not enough of the delicious food. lol

Plus, the Mason jars that they used to serve the drinks were all dirty, full of lipstick! To top all off, one of the waiters started arguing the fact that the jars were clean, "It's just some lipsticks are harder to take off than others." Terrible reasoning for something as serious as the customers health. Please be advised that they don't seem to take health hazards as seriously as they should. Needless to say, never going here again!

Not sure what to make of it. My first time, eating Skirt steak there and it was unusually gummy, perseemed lower quality a bit gummy... Tried Duck dish for the first time and the Stench was too Strong. Duck meat is similar to Lamp meat, it has a naturally strong sometime awful smell... If not particularly prepared using Bay leaves to neutralize the Stench, it can be unpleasant to eat... The rice though was superb

Ordered on door dash: chicken satay was RAW, disgusting to bite into raw chicken. Rotisserie chicken stunk, old spoiled with greenish color inside. Horrible taste. Never again. Door dash refunded only $10, wow, everything went into garbage.

Go for the drinks and good food

Something has changed in the kitchen. Prices have gone up ($3 on each item we ordered in the past year), yet the food was well below the previous standard. Drunkin Noodles were dry and not freshly cooked, thai fried rice was bland, salad oddly chopped and minimal for $11.

I will say the hostess was very plesant and the interior looked as it has, clean and cheery

I ordered papaya salad, sticky rice, golden tofu, and spicy Sri racha noodles. All delicious, but where are the dried baby shrimp for my papaya salad. Will go back and take photos next time.

I’ve been coming here for about 7 years on my lunch break. I recently took my son here before he departed for Army Basic Training. I usually order the same food and never have an issue but this time when I ordered the spring roll, after taking few bites I immediately had to go to the restroom and vomit. This has left a fear of eating here ever again.

This place has great food and what stands out is the new rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes, I would 100% recommend.

The food here is great, and the drinks are awesome. The price for the food is still affordable for NYC standard and happy hour is a great deal. The only thing better than the food and drinks is the excellent service offered by the staff. Everyone here is very great and makes you feel welcomed. I would 100% recommend this place.

Where do I begin?
I have been eating here or ordering from here for the past 5-6 years . Recently I had the worst experience. I ordered my usual drunken noodles not too spicy with no onions. I received my order and the order was so spicy that I couldn’t even eat it AT ALL!!! I called to tell them hey I asked for mild not this that’s too spicy to even eat.
Well the girl’s answer to me was well you’ll have to pay for a new order we can’t send you a new one . Honestly. This hasn’t been the 1st time I have heard this from them but last time they were nice even enough to accommodate me bc what happened was the other way around where they didn’t put any spice at all and it was so tasteless.
Their customer service when it comes to take out is the absolute WORST!!!!! No accommodation their only option is for you to order and pay for a new order.

You have lost a Loyal customer due to your poor customer service and lack of accommodation for a mistake done on your behalf.

Really good food and awesome service. Squid fried rice and virgin pina colada. Only thing is they charge you a few for using a card which is illegal in nyc I'm pretty sure.

This place is a gem. Happy hour here is the best time to be here. The food is delicious, and the drinks are well made. The service is always on point. Come in a group, or on a date or solo. You will have a great meal at a reasonable price

Ordered from this place the first time yesterday night. I had the chicken pad thai and calamari.The chicken pad thai was great proportions and the chicken was thin sliced as I loved, but a little dry. The calamari, on the other hand, was not my cup of tea. Really thin slices, the breadcrumbs on the outside were not cooked all the way, and it didn’t come with marinara sauce. Needles to say when I got home, I had to put the calamari in the air fryer and make red sauce to eat the meal that was already supposed to he cooked.

Really good food can't complain.

FYI, it was pretty empty, and also late so there weren't many people there so don't trust the atmosphere rating too much. But also we were a party of five and I won't lie we weren't exactly the quietest and yet as far as I know there weren't any complaints and everyone else was enjoying their time.

It was tasty food. I liked it.

Made a last minute catering order for a large group of people and was greatly serviced here. The staff was helpful in giving me menu options and the process was very smooth. Large group of 60 was very pleased & great comments on the quality plus serving. Thank you for a great experience as many of our members were first timers for thai food. Highly recommend exceptional service!

Was not the best experience “take out” wise

A really cute restaurant spot which some gorgeous design work inside. I went during a slow lunch period and even then it was nice inside. The service was great, and the server even helped suggest a nice glass of wine to go with my meal. For the food I loved everything. The shrimp on my Thai dish were especially cooked amazingly well. The coconut soup was so good I ate the entire bowl. I would like to try curry here in the future. Def will be going here again, plus they also have delivery via Uber Eats/etc.

My Favorite Basil Rice!!!

I order two dishes Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. The Drunken noodle was very flavorful and delicious while the Pad Thai was lacking sauce and flavor. Portions were very filling. We did however pay $60 for two meals and a side order of calamari. In my opinion it’s a bit pricey for what you are receiving. This place isn’t the best nor the worst for being the only Thai place in the area.

On my way back from the Met Cloisters, I stopped by this place for lunch. Their happy hour is awesome. Everyday 3 pm - 7 pm. All beer $3 and good deal on other drinks as well. I had the Red Curry with chicken and it comes with Jasmine rice. The prices are very reasonable and my dine in experience was very good. I loved the fact that no one rushed us out of the place after we were done eating and finishing our beer. Would recommend and would probably go back again.

Their food is good usually but sometimes comes with disappointments.
Please stop putting the spring rolls is an "insulation bag," they were soggy and wet. Maybe their dine in experience is better, they don't package their food well.
Veggie Pad Thai is significantly less portion than the chicken.
Coconut shrimp is 4 pcs, so very small.
They are more expensive than Thung Thong in the neighborhood, and I probably eat more Thai food than I should.

I always get the drunken noodles and basil fried rice I loveeeeee yummy Thai since my dad started taking me when I was a little girl attests 10 years ago. This is my second drunken noodles dish from Yummy Thai: first was beef and the second (pictured) is chicken. Absolutely delicious!! Perfectly flavored and generous servings.

Very yummy indeed. Had the drunken noodles. Last time I went it seemed to lack flavor, but this time they stepped it up. They must have listened to reviews. I'm a big Thai food fan. One of my favorites is Sea in Brooklyn. This did not disappoint.

This is one of our neighborhood staples. We order from Yummy Thai often and the food is always good. We have had the curries, fried rice, and drunken noodles dishes. We also like the Thai ice teas too and they make great edamame!

A bit mediocre but not bad

I visited this place this week. The pineapple rice was a real nice treat and something I've never experienced before. The sweetness of pineapple mixed in with the side of chicken gives the meal an interesting taste. I also ordered a lychee iced tea where it was interesting taste of sweet and slight sour taste, but I enjoy it.

Seem to be in some kind of trouble because the liquor license has gone, so no more scrummy cocktails. The food likely would raise eyebrow in Bangkok but is freshly-picked and reasonably tasty.

Beautiful place. Perfect ambience. Alfredo the server surprised me with a flan with a candle on top for my birthday. Which in conversation I let slip. Sebastian was very nice at the door. The food was great! I had a drunken noodles which was my first time but I’m looking forward to having it again. I extremely recommend you give this cozy place a try.
